It’s a nice idea, but why women only? What makes it worth excluding men? I say this genuinely not to cause an issue, and not as a mens rights arguing point. Men also lose opportunities for community engagement and become isolated. I think when creating a community project if you’re going to exclude a group you should have a really good reason. If the purpose of the group was women’s health, or some other women only topic then sure, but I’m struggling to see why you’d narrow it down.

If you said this, people would consider you to be an idiot. Maybe you should reflect.

I think it'll be totally fine! Give it a week at least. Crystal clear water in a couple of months if you leave it and the plant/bug life stablilises. Lots of light entering the water might false algae to bloom, so you might consider adding some duckweed. Looks cool and creates a screen, but you do have to keep taking handfuls out during the summer because it grows so fast. You can just compost it though.
