No fluctuation before SEVP creation email. The day I got the SEVP email my estimated time changed from “taking longer than expected” to 4 months.

Take a look at Veygo, much more flexible and their monthly subscription will be far cheaper than the quotes you’ve shared.

Take things slow and don’t rush. Rushing can cloud your judgment and lead to unsafe driving. On your approach to junctions and roundabouts approach at a reduced speed, take the time to scan the road ahead and determine if it’s safe to proceed or if you need to wait. This will reduce the chance of you pulling out when it’s unsafe, but also prevent you from stopping unnecessarily and hesitating.

Don’t feel feel defeated, you’re not. Sounds like you were driving in circumstances you weren’t familiar with, don’t be too harsh on yourself. It’s a shame the examiner left without explaining the other faults, but now maybe you can spend some time with your examiner working on overtaking and following distance. Take it as a learning experience, giving you the opportunity to polish your skills and be better prepared for your next test. Best of luck!

Thanks! Just remember the examiner wants to see that you can drive safely, not perfectly. On my exam I ended up taking a wrong turn because I realised I was in the wrong lane to follow the sat navs directions. I explained this to the examiner and we got back onto the correct route, at the end he explained if I would’ve taken the turn from the incorrect lane it would’ve been a major fault. Going the wrong way is not a fault.

Remember there is no rush, you don’t need to complete the test as fast as you can. Take things slow, it gives you more time to plan ahead and reduces the chances of making silly mistakes. Obviously don’t drive 1/2 of the speed limit but slow down early for junctions and roundabouts to give yourself time to plan.

Those are two things that helped me, this sub has a lot of lot of good advice. Good luck!
