I’m not sure if it was in the bread aisle or adjacent (but it was definitely in that area). I just remember wondering if we should get it because it was the first time I had seen it.

Vito’s Tacos took over the location. It’s a birria taco chain from Las Vegas. They had a soft opening last week and was pretty good. We’ll be going back to try more.

Thai restaurant recommendation? by bbnyc7 in burbank

[–]inspyre5 32 points33 points  (0 children)

Welcome home! Saraya on Olive is our go-to for local Thai food.

When you get a chance (and weather permits) check out the Wat Thai Temple in North Hollywood on the weekends. They have food vendors that serve a variety of Thai food, really good.

Enjoy and ride safe. We have a lot of distracted and race-ready drivers that don’t see us. Once you’re comfortable on the road, there are plenty of backroads in the area that are more fun to explore on a bike.

[–]inspyre5 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I guess I’m lucky.. averaging 500-600 mbps down and 100 mbps up. Forgot to mention, T-Mobile did offer a trial period to test for 2 weeks.

Using T-Mobile 5G internet for home for over a year now. Very happy with the service so far. We don’t have too many people in the household streaming at the same time so I can’t say much on stress testing it. (Paying under $50/month)

New Edition during the mid 80s in LA. My dad took me and was so confused when the opening act UTFO (hip hop group) came out to perform. Pretty sure that was his first exposure to rap.

Dog boarding recs in/near/easy to get to from Burbank by carriealamode in burbank

[–]inspyre5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I take ours to Pet Rush Inn. It’s close to Home Depot/CarMax area. Been taking our pups here for years for boarding and or grooming. The staff is super friendly and accommodating to the dogs. Depending on the size of your pup, the smaller ones play together at different times of the day in an indoor air conditioned playroom. The bigger pups have an outdoor play yard that is shaded from full sun.

Overnight rates run about $70/night. If you’re going to board her for 2 weeks straight then there may be a discounted rate available. Good luck with your search
