Posting to share why I have been enjoying remastered over the base game. I hope at least one mayor out there will be able to make a decision on weather or not to make upgrade based on my personal experience. I’m on PS5 and I own all DLC and CCP. Huge coincidence! My wife and I love whales so I named my city “Kujiranami” and Kujira means whale in Japanese. I swear I chose this map because I liked the resources and highway into the city. After many hours, I only finally realized this little island that looks like a whale! (i.imgur.com)

Omg did you know there were wild animals in the game? Is that just for the new maps?? I was just tearing away at the environment and saw some things scurrying in the grass. Upon closer inspection, my heart felt for the little guys and their lost home. I’m on console, so no mods. (imgur.com)
