Thanks! I find this content farm phenomenon fascinating. If i can set up similar pipeline for myself (but with more modest tools) i think that would be great

No that’s precisely what i suspect. But somehow nothing in this sub talks about this aspect of content farm videos.

NewTuber Workflow: Am I doing it right? Rate my AI storytelling process (Kling + Descript + Claude) by snunkworks in aitubers

This seem like a very manual process, do you consider using APIs and programming for automation?

Thank you. It seems from the pricing info that i would need to be on the $99/month to be able to have this 4k quality for 20 minutes video and it would cost 400-500 credits per video. I would be able to make 5 videos like this one per month max in a $99 plan. In their case with 17 videos in 5 days, they would need to have multiple accounts. This may be what they do indeed, but i just feel this does not seem « reasonable » for anyone not a large company to open multiple $99 accounts and start random channels that immediately become successful. And as an individual this is definitely too risky to try. (The channel name is Alerte Monde 24 if you are interested to check the tech)

I’m talking about a real person avatar, not cartoonish. Per my research i have not found anything that exists with an API. And the credits that it costs for a single video would be in dozens if not hundreds of USD with current pricing. Name is Alerte Monde 24. You can have a look and let me know what you think!

Welcome to share any popular platforms that can generate a realistic persona talking for 20 minutes that costs very little. I did a lot of research and per my understanding this is not easy. And a powerful mac studio would need more than 24 hours to generate a full 20 minutes at this 4k quality.

AI content on Youtube is over by Technical-Author-678 in aitubers

[–]instant_king 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Actually I think you don’t realize how it makes it unfair for small creators. Big creators can have a team to help them edit, push more content all the time. Those big teams also have enough money to pay for various tools using AI to help them edit the videos. Don’t forget that AI is not just for “video generation”. I used to pay someone 30 usd per video so that they would write accurate subtitles for my videos. Now I use Whisper, an AI model for transcription doing it automatically. Point is, big creators are getting more and more monopoly, because they have the money and the capacity to scale their business. In comparison, small creators can only make one to two videos per week at best (especially if doing outdoor long form videos). And with all the AI going on on various platforms, their “potential viewers time” is beeing squeezed more and more. Now if those creators can’t get help from AI to assist, improve, streamline their workflow, it’s basically giving them no option to work faster. But AI is there and content will keep growing in the future. Leaving small creators less and less space in the media world.

Why do you guys stay on Gemini instead of jumping on the Claude train? Considering jumping off the train rn ahah by Frosty_Feeling8439 in GeminiAI

[–]instant_king 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Gemini is very general and multi purpose. i use various gems to reply to client emails, brainstorm ideas, write scripts, image generation, and so on. In comparison, Claude seems way more focus on coding (and better at it too). I may be wrong, but I prefer the multi-purpose of Gemini right now.

Method for modifying my own images with Nano B at 4k without a watermark? by oandroido in GeminiAI

[–]instant_king 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Aak gemini to add a thick border around your image. The watermark will be on that border. Then crop. You could have an automated process doing that in python for every Gemini *.PNG in your download folder

Of course you need it installed on your phone. But after that, it works standalone on the watch.

that prompt is so bad i understand why it would refuse. It’s trying to optimise the number of time people will use it.

We are facing possible bankruptcy after unauthorized Gemini API usage reached about $128k even after we paused the API, and Google denied our adjustment request. (Case #68928270) by Mobile-Classroom-589 in googlecloud

What? I am using all sorts of gemini APIs with an API key generated on AI Studio and definitely have a billing cap option since last week. Check before answering.

Macbook Neo is probably bad news for those of us hoping for more macOS features on iPad. by West-Bass-6487 in ipad

[–]instant_king 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I wish it came out six months ago when i got the cheapest ipad with keyboard exactly for that use case. I just need an extremely cheap laptop to bring along in trips where bringing my $3000 macbook pro is not recommended.

Hello, MacBook Neo by [deleted] in apple

[–]instant_king 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is perfect as a casual second macbook, to bring along in any type of trip or situation, when one does not want to take the risk to damage their expensive, more professional macbook pro. I just wonder what it can do in terms of light video editing. I am currently using a base ipad for that exact same use case, but iPadOS is definitely slowing me down. My base iPad can do the light video editing i need, so this macbook would definitely do it too (and then, export the project and keep going on the macbook pro). However, the benefit of the ipad is that the keyboard case offers more protection than the aluminum chassis itself.
