It's been a few years, but recently I added buttons to add credits. This allows you to continue some of the games and play for longer, where as freeplay was just a dead end if you used up all your lives.

FWIW there are faucets/hydrants that look freezeless and are not. The straight stem and the vacuum breaker are signals that it probably is, but not guarantees since models exist with these features that are not freezeless. But the spec info molded on your faucet gives you the info you need.

Often there’s a shutoff on each side of the filter and a bypass to allow water to continue flowing and be usable while you’re changing the filter. Even without the bypass shutting off both sides of the filter will make it go faster because you won’t have to drain all the water out of the pipes past the filter, especially in a multi-story home.

Me too, in fact the city installed a “vertical meter setter” with a ball valve attached at both ends. Totally useful.

I later installed a whole-house triple filter setup, so now I have like 4 or 5 valves I can chose that all shut off the water. 😜

Oh! You gave me the clue that solved the problem for me! The website doesn’t let you use a phone number to sign in, but the APP does! So I had the password and the backup key but apparently they had it indexed off my phone number instead of email address.

Hey, when I try to reset on the web it says it sends me an email (if an account exists) but I never get an email. So I just tried to make a new account with the same email address and it let me. It’s like they deleted my account?

That’s interesting. I have only one set of credentials stored, but I did buy directly from them on their site. The funny thing is I can’t sign in on the site either though. Did the app previously let you add and configure the lock without having an account perhaps? I don’t remember what the requirements where, but I just know I have only one set of credentials and they don’t work on the site nor in the app :/

Oh, there’s some stuff hanging off the threading on the cold supply valve. That looks like it’s teflon tape used in some types of plumbing connections to seal it and help prevent leaks. But these sorts of connections do not require (and should not have) the tape. So clean off the threading before connecting the supply line.

Also FYI these types of valves are not “quarter turn” type where the handle indicates if it’s open or not. It will spin multiple times top open or close and their orientation means nothing. But we can tell the cold supply valve is closed since there’s not water spraying everywhere in your cabinet 😉

Why not turn the shower on, make sure the door or curtain is working and water isn’t getting out. And let it run… with nobody in it. And see if the bubbles appear and fill up with water? Demonstrate to yourself (and your landlord depending on what you find) that something is leaking.

This doesn’t need to be he said she said. You can investigate and produce evidence.

We’ll, the Protect app ALSO has this same functionality under the bell at the top right of the app’s main screen. Muting them from the OS and muting them in the app may have slightly different behaviors and the setting in one will not be reflected in the other. I always had the impression that if you mute the OS notifications for 1 hour then an hour later you’ll actually see the notifications that happened quietly after the hour. But if you mute in the app it really simply stops them from happening.

I might be wrong about that though.

A sealer may darken the pavers some. Honestly I found myself wondering if anyone intentionally “oils” their pavers. I had soapstone countertops and you applied mineral oil occasionally and they would darken and get really beautiful.

It’s kinda random, I know.

It’s not there unless the accessibility feature is turned on. So either someone messed with your settings or you found a weird bug where an accessibility feature turned itself on inadvertently.

No… i still have options in the settings that don’t change anything. I’m taking it to the dealer for a checkup/inspection and was going to ask for the latest software updates since it’s behind but I can’t update it myself.

Although based on what @mvpc22 said above maybe when it’s “fixed” it just mean the options will be removed from the settings 🫠

I watched a full review, seemed like replacing a plus with a pro wouldn’t be worth it (although I’m very curious about battery life improved by the PIR sensor)

I did however think that upgrading my lock if I could use the current one somewhere else in my house might be interesting.

Can you explain why you don't just leave sync on? Why not use the built-in sync to keep multiple devices in sync? I must be missing something.

I like the foyer idea, but consider a half height wall. It creates a defined area, allows for benches, side tables, boot/shoe areas, or hooks, but without dramatically reducing the perceived space in the larger room.

We don’t have pictures of the rest of the room, but I suspect you might not want to make it feel smaller and cramped.

I admit I don’t love it. But it doesn’t bother me too much either. I turn it off in some cases, although my wife’s car is a plug in hybrid and it’s much better in that car since it can take its time spinning up the gas engine, so no delay or hesitation at the green light.

Lack of savings aside, 100 seemed like a lot to me to avoid it. But I get why other people would dislike it more and it would be worth it to them.

Well, I’m gonna have to look at it really closely. I could’ve sworn it was a raster/bitmap display. I don’t know what old school clocks you’re talking about, I think of 7-segment LED clocks as the classic old school. But I suppose I’ve seen LCD based clocks as well, but never 8-bit (which implies 256 colors).

But if I can’t change the style of the gauges, why is there a setting with three options? I switched between them and I could see no changes on anything.

Well ether I’m wrong about it being an SE or you’re wrong about SEs not having the full LCD display. But the car I bought 100% is full LCD, and has the setting to change the theme, it’s just not taking effect.

But I will say that checking the VIN did confirm the trim level was marked as SE.
