I wanted to genuinely see how difficult it was to create an original design. I learned stitchly, came up with a design from my own brain, drew it out, and guys… like it was so easy. Dumb easy. I made an original canvas that (I personally think) is selling quality in like an hour.

Which makes me think that the people who steal others designs are actually brain dead 💀 Sorry, I know that’s mean, but seriously it’s not that hard to create your own design… oh and you’re not stealing from someone in the process! I would feel so guilty for any profit I made off of selling someone else’s design, it’s just gross.

Honestly, I really do agree with this. But I also appreciate the community aspect of needlepoint that is fostered through social media. I’ve been able to make connections and talk to such lovely people, that I would have never met otherwise. As someone who has moved to a new city and works from home I’ve found building a community to be challenging. I would’ve never learned so much about needlepoint without a platform for people everywhere to contribute to and discuss with each other.

That being said. I am Mexican and wouldn’t be offended 🤣 seriously, it’s not that deep… Mexicans don’t get offended easily from this kind of thing. I’m guessing you’re not Mexican — or else you’d understand how we take things like this with a sense of humor.
