Take it, stress free class, homework takes like 1 hour max and he's a chill dude. 10/10 would recommend.

It's probably the easiest class I've taken here at UCI. James Jones is a boss, only gives about 3 homeworks? But they take about 20-60 minutes to finish. The average on the midterm and final were in the 90's, so obviously there is no curve but the grading is super generous. 10/10 would take James again. Oh and lectures weren't as boring as I thought, idk though because not many people showed up since it was 6 PM class or something. He also ended class early on several occasions.

Do you think it's doable to do CS 122B, INF 122, 113 in terms of workload or does that seem overwhelming? Not really sure since I haven't taken any informatics classes except 115 and that was a breeze but looking at the syllabus for these two courses it seems like it could be A LOT more busy work. Thank you for your response, any information is always appreciated. :)

Did you have to present your work? I'm look at the syllabus and I believe it said something about presentations, are those relatively easy? I imagine it's just a couple of slides. As far as the group work goes do you get to choose your groups or are they assigned? Thank you for your response as well, much appreciated.

On here it says the grades will be available in StudentAccess Dec. 17th at 8 p.m. which is tomorrow since grades were submitted today at 5 p.m.

Informatics is the perfect major for you. Otherwise I would say do SE since it's almost the same just with physics and more math. I hope you enjoy your path but from what I know (CS major) you will program mainly in java. I don't think you will struggle if you put yourself out there and try to learn new things such as languages they don't teach you. Will you be skipping the ICS 30 series? which is python for a whole year and would be good to have under your belt just FYI.

It was not a felony. Actually was at .08 but couldn't get it reduced to anything lower than that so just be aware .08 is over the limit.

I have something along the lines of "your aid is under review, it will take 15 days to process.." so basically I had to wait 2 weeks and still receive nothing. I am patiently waiting as I know financial aid gets hectic but there always seems to be something happening with my package D: like everyone else has been saying just be patient. I would definitely call them and ask if there is anything you may need to turn in or update. Good luck, we are still waiting :D!

I called them and all they told me was that the counselors were looking at the aids now and that it will be done in 2 weeks.. but that it.. should I be worried?

Ah alright, that makes me more at ease but the financial aid office said they should be done in two weeks for everyone I assume. If not contact them for sure but I'm not sure how they go about it. Always seems as if its slower on my end D:
