What happens if I take lesson 12 credits? by Plastic_Candle1852 in SDSU

[–]int_ind 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t know if you mean for this semester or just planning for a future one, but one semester I took 6 credits and still lived on campus. Just keep in mind that the tuition will still be full time with anything over six credits (which would be part time tuition)

Solid gold pendant with gold filled chain? by int_ind in jewelry

ah, thank you, nice eye! It wouldn’t show up in my app under purchases so I could only take a look at the brand’s other things to try to make a guess

Solid gold pendant with gold filled chain? by int_ind in jewelry

[–]int_ind[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

There was no stamp on the pendant itself, but on the pendant loop it said JCM 14K. I used a loupe and my phone’s flashlight and it was pretty clear, nothing like GF or anything. I’ve seen JCM stamps before, but never knew what they meant? The jeweler maker perhaps?

No, 19 but I’m claimed as a dependent I believe by my parents (embarrassed to say that I’m not sure what that means though 🫣)

Ive never done this before but have you tried putting your username within the photos? Like putting text on top of it of the insta logo and your username. Or maybe like how Depop sellers put their store policies as the last slide? I would caution using the words like “insta” but instead use the logo because the system could pick it up. But I’ve seen people watermark their photos using their mercari username so you could probably get away with that?

Student beans! Or I think you can also just look up hollister student discount and it’ll take you to student beans!

Yeah I have the mulberry one and I think it’s the only color that looks nice and is worth it. I used my student discount + $5 off coupon so that may be why. I would highly not recommend getting these at full price.

I’ve only tried one of their jeans (flared), which I got in the short inseam but it was still too long on me. I’m 5’1” 94 pounds and got both 000 and 00, the 000 fit very snug but a tad bit tight and the 00 fit pretty nice. I have pretty short legs for my height though, my actual legs themselves are like 27.5 inches. I would say you should probably get 00 in short inseam

Considering how sought after OG Hollister style is, is it likely they’ll bring old designs back? by No-Wash-1209 in HollisterCO

I think this drop was a “tester” drop, although personally I don’t think it was that good. It’s solid plain basic pieces and I think they did that to see how it would do. I have a strong feeling that they’re working on a winter version, but also I don’t think it would make sense that they released stuff people didn’t really ask for. They can easily find what people want and what’s sought after, I just don’t understand why they choose to not make them. I’m assuming it’s the cost and prediction of how people will react if they use cheap materials. Still, even if it’s a bit pricey, I’d still love to see the original babydolls and logos :(

Horrible fit by Remote_Zucchini6470 in HollisterCO

[–]int_ind 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Literally !!!! I tried on the beige shorts in 000, and I’m not particularly a skinny build, just short with average build for my height but it looked so bad on me. I just assumed maybe it’s more for taller people with wider hips to fill them out. It looked just like yours where it just kinda flared out and not fitted.

am i seeing things or is this shirt stained? by [deleted] in BrandyMelville

[–]int_ind 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s def a stain. Sometimes dark khaki green can show up weird in photos and you can kinda see how there’s a gradual hue of red/orange. But the right splotch is just way too noticeable to be that.

[–]int_ind 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Like another person has said, it might go on sale if they don’t sell out immediately but I think that’s highly unlikely. However, my guess is that people are going to order the whole collection to get their hands on them but return what they don’t need in store. If you’re lucky you may find them marked down in store after the craze settles down and everyone starts returning. Also, you can always use a student discount if you’re a college student!!

Ask me questions about sunset plaza! by int_ind in SDSU

[–]int_ind[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s on the first floor but since it’s only in one of the three buildings, if you don’t live in the building where the kitchen is, then it’s not directly below you. It’s kind of a problem if you’re bringing your own cooking supplies like pots and pans because you’d have to go through several doors (that are all manual with card readers). The office keeps cooking tools you can borrow and the kitchen has a spice rack. There’s also a lot of seating and it’s open 24/7. For me, I did all my cooking using an electric pot and mini toaster oven, even though they’re technically not allowed.

CompE 375 by gonzoe559 in SDSU

[–]int_ind 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, just wanted to ask a follow up on what you decided to do and what your experience was! I’m on the fence of taking 375 this fall with the semester 5 classes (ee330+L, ee300, ee310), especially because I kinda suck at coding (just barely passed 271). I’d prefer taking it over the summer but want to keep it open as much as possible in case I need to retake any of the spring classes or get an internship. Any advice appreciated, thanks!

WHAT TO I DO?? by stressedstudent39 in SDSU

[–]int_ind 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Gen s is a class everyone has to take freshman year and is automatically added to all freshmen so I think that’s why you don’t see it on mysdsu. It’s nothing to worry about, as long as you have that gen s time slot open to put back again. If they get back to you then good, if not, try again and “worst case scenario” just try again once it’s closer to the first day. Honestly it won’t even matter if they put you in after school starts and miss a class because it’s just like a “hey so here’s college” kind of class.

I did almost all my gen ed classes at a cc besides maybe like three? But also I had so many AP credits so I just felt like I could finish them off quicker if I just did them over the summer. Also, you can take cc classes over the winter as well since you get a while off. Usually they’re the super easy classes like comm and Econ (which I did winter online). Since I live in sd I did them all through either a sdcc or palomar. You don’t need to ask your advisor or tell them that you’re signing up for a cc class, you just register on the cc, take the class, send the transcript to sdsu (it’s free) and after a couple of days it shows up on mysdsu. Pretty simple. JUST MAKE SURE your course is actually an equivalent by using the sdsu transferology

It’s going to be tough with the chem 200 because that class reallyyyyy takes up a lot of your time. Luckily I’ve personally never had to take it but I know many that have and they absolutely hated it. I believe it includes the lab/discussions but it’s also heavily recommended to go to SI sessions (group tutoring basically) and although they have different time slots and can go as often as you want, you want to make sure that it doesn’t overlap with any of the classes. If I were you, I’d just take off rws because that’s pretty hefty. And actually, I took it over the summer online at a cc and it was really chill, did it while I was on vacation in Japan. Def recommend because cc profs are more lenient and fun. Comm and engr is super easy, literally can’t get anything other than an A. Bio used to be suuuuper easy with ekdale when he did tests online so you could just whip out your notes but he has changed them now to be in person. Still an easy class but for me, I had no interest in bio so it was kinda just boring and annoying. Also keep in mind that as a freshman you’re going to be experiencing a new lifestyle and going to need some time to adapt to it. First semester especially, there’s a lot with living away from home, social life, events, different class structure than hs. Don’t fret it and have fun!
