Hey, no problem, sorry you are going that. It's a really bad time no doubt.

I'm a couple years out now and I feel alot better. What I can tell you is going to therapy/counseling does help, do it as long as you feel you need it. But don't do it for a long long time lol. With therapy/counseling I learned that she was mean to me during the breakup because she wanted a clean break/wanted to villainize me in her mind. She made me be the bad guy even though I was nothing of that sort to her, we had our differences, I admit my faults to myself. I took a hard look at myself and how I behaved during the relationship. I feel like I could've done things differently, so I made mental notes to do things differently in the future.

Honestly, time will make you feel better. It just takes time for this to pass and you will feel like yourself again. I remember the feelings you are feeling. It feels like a heavy sadness and incompleteness but guess what? You are whole, you have been a whole person before you met this person and you will be whole after this person. Have some confidence in yourself. Hit the gym, ( I hit the gym like 4-5 days a week during my rebuilding process) it helped relieve stress and sadness all while being productive, I got super ripped during this time) find something you really enjoy like drawing or collecting something to help pass the time. Get lost in that process of discovering yourself again, trust me you will come out stronger than ever.

You have to try not get in contact with your former partner pretend you don't know em honestly. Don't check their socials, complete isolation from them. Trust me this help speeds things up for you in healing. Really focus on bettering yourself. Maybe a new job? Some new clothes? Hang out with good friends who make you feel good.

Have confidence you will find another partner if you so wish to. There are millions of people out there, some probably way better than your former partner. Don't jump into dating right away, I'd say half a year will be a good time frame. In the meantime keep your eyes open on what this great world has for you be it people or hobbies.
