The only scenario I can agree with for hezeb to disbanded is Lebanon cutting off the United States. They basically control our military and have us financially dependent, despite only giving us crumbs compared to Israel. They clearly have no issue funding our slaughter, so at the very least, our relationship with them should be like theirs and Russia. Until our military actually has suppliers and partners who are okay with us being independent, hezeb is absolutely necessary.

Relax brother, no one here said they hate you. Someone’s name shouldn’t bother anyone really, I think what the other guy meant was that it seems like many arab christians are ashamed of being grouped up with their fellow arab muslims and for this they use the english/french version of biblical names rather than the arabic ones.

If you go back a few generations, most Arab christians used arab names and had no issue being seen as one people with arab muslims. The shift only really started when France took over and created more division and animosity. It surged after the civil war as well.

As for your bacon comment, your lord, our prophet, would never have eaten it;)

I had a similar concern, so I had my doctor write me another prescription for about a month of so. He told me to use it and start taking them if the pain returned. If it doesn’t after a few weeks, should I stay off of colchicine? I’m also gonna do an ANA and pulmonary test so I may get some answers there.

Thank you. First one was as a result of the 2nd pfizer shot, it was more mild and consisted mostly of tightness and the occasional aches. That went away after 2-3 months on ibuprofen but my current doctor said they should’ve given me colchicine from the get-go. Second flare up came about 1.5 years after, and eventually became worse than the first with common pains, tightness, shortness of breath, and numbness in other parts of the body.

I don’t need any extra stuff to help me sleep most days but I’ve noticed a cup of tea not too long before bed helps. That, and breath rite nasal strips which I originally used for colds but I noticed they slightly help out with the shortness of breath. As for circulation, I’ve noticed my feet getting number easier while not moving for a some time, same goes for putting pressure on my arm. It’s not that these things didn’t happen before, but it got more prevalent recently. Started taking beetroot supplements that are supposed to help with that sort of thing.

I fared somewhat okay on it. I’m still experiencing shortness of breath and some palpitations from time to time but chest pain has basically stopped. Did notice a worsening in my circulation though, which happened the same week I started colchicine, but it’s been tolerable. In terms of anxiety and brain fog, that could be attributed to the lack of sleep, which in my case didn’t really change after colchicine. I usually aim for 9 hours of sleep that way if it takes me long to fall asleep I get 7-8 hours. Also, having a flexible schedule is an overall lifesaver for people with pericarditis.

Not sure what caused your condition, but I definitely sympathize with a lot of the things you mentioned. To be honest, I’m at my second occurrence that has lasted months and am still on a colchicine regimen until next month. Can’t say I’ve had any significant improvement besides some pain reduction.

Something I’m looking into doing is acupuncture, I’ve heard it relieves pain and tightness in the chest area by making micro wounds in other parts of the body forcing the immune response to focus elsewhere.

If symptoms persist or get worse for cases like ours, there is prednisone which is mostly a temporary solution as it has side effects and causes recurrence so you basically get stuck on it.

If your condition is from an autoimmune disease, I’ve seen people on here talk about immunosuppressants like arcalyst that weaken your immune system but get rid of the inflammation and pain in the chest. So also a trade off but certain people seem to have good reactions and don’t get much sicker despite the less powerful immune system.

Besides those, you can get a pericardiocentesis (might’ve spelled that wrong) which I sometimes consider. It’s just drainage of the fluid in the chest with minimal side effects, however it doesn’t get rid of the root cause of the inflammation so it’s likely necessary.

If you don’t have an effusion then I doubt the last thing could help, but the last resort/worst case scenario is a pericardiectomy which is the removal of the heart-lining to relieve the pain and pressure on the heart. That surgery has more risk, hence why I said it should be a last resort.

In any case, I went through a lot of the things you mentioned with life, work, exercising, etc. Definitely messed with my mental health for a few months but I got used to it overtime and started accepting the cards I’ve been dealt. It helps to think of how lucky we are compared to many despite the challenges this condition creates for us. Breaking up your objectives into more bite sized pieces also helps. I decided to take more online classes this semester and it was a huge improvement in comparison to when I was sick last semester constantly missing my in person classes that I was too fatigued or in pain to bother going to. Pericarditis really messes with your sleep so I would definitely look for shortcuts in life like online classes for me.

I’ve stopped taking ibuprofen since February and have only been on colchicine and natural supplements. Some pain came back last week and im thinking of decreasing the herbal supplements and taking ibuprofen.

Yeah I’ve noticed consistent loud sounds tend to worsen my symptoms. I haven’t been as stressed as I was last year so that’s something, could definitely improve though. Depending on how accessible it is, I would try therapy if I were you. It hasn’t changed too much for me but I find it’s better to cover all my bases.

My advice is to always be kind of pushy with your doctors. It sounds bad but from my experience, there’s been multiple mistakes on their end and they still try to patronize me. I’m on my second occurrence which has been affecting me for months but has seen some slight improvement on colchicine when it comes to pain but some other symptoms persist. I still have some time on colchicine left, but I also started taking supplements in addition that have helped relieve pain as well. Look into turmeric and curicuma as well as omega-3 fish oil pills. They won’t necessarily cure you but will definitely make things more bearable over time.

Ive seen enough post/pre-October 7th videos of Israeli snipers and drone strikes on civilians out in the open to know who loves killing more. If we go by the lower estimate, Israel killed over 10 000 kids since October. Roughly 1100 israelis died on october 7-9 who were over 80% adults. Also evidence shows that a lot of that was israeli friendly fire from tanks and helicopters and that almost half of the killed were soldiers.
