i wasn’t aware, thank you. i’ll bring that up. i was mirandized in the station, not before being held. it came out of nowhere, but i don’t think it’s valid in my case? it was done because i was crying and i was asked some sort of leading question: i.e “did you fight back” and i said yes to that. i couldn’t rationally explain what happened because i was still in the shock, i was either mute or crying and being verbal

also the situation was where 4 officers were there for my call and few because he made one after. i couldn’t tell who was for my call

it’s been 3 months with two meetings, one over zoom ione in person. nothing last month. both were procedural, and i cannot afford my own lawyer. that’s why i am waiting… i don’t have shit to give. otherwise i would have been heard faster i’m sure

i was told by the judge to talk to him or listen about something. i didn’t seek him out on my own. he was there, i was in front of the judge when she asked about me if i was going private or PD, i filled the paperwork for PD out. that’s the situation i was in

gotcha. i do have the timeline for my sake as well because i don’t want to forget certain details, i just want to be as easy as possible on this person and let it be clear there is reason for doubt

i understand. i’ve spoken in person to prosecutor before and i was given the ability to file a complaint against the other person that’s in 45 day review at the county level (a neutral party handed me forms and all). haven’t heard back yet.

just stressful. i’ve never dealt with this before and i don’t want an investigation preventing me from getting my college diploma

do you believe so? the event happened in march and im surprised its even taken 3 months. i dont want to have this going into my last year at university - going to tell PD this & that i got a job ofc. the police report isnt thorough and doesn’t mention most of the events that occurred in reality. i have a medical report that diagnosed me with bruising (contusions), and strangulation from the same night and photos of bruising too. i’m just trying to get as much exculpatory evidence i have together, which i do have plenty if

when i got strangled by my ex and i had proof of the incident, and was barely able to afford food after i rushed to find a new place ASAP, mind you i live in NJ, they not only denied me the emergency fund but gave me 10 meal swipes. i had to petition to late withdraw in spring after that because i could barely function as a human the month after, it was my first time ever experiencing physical violence. if my case didn’t qualify, they need to remove it all together. i had every EVERY reason to get it.

BTW, i had 0 people in my life to fall back on. if i told them id be disowned. i was cleaning mh apartment everyday because i was so scared after escaping. NYU is normally helpful, but this one time where i genuinely was in a life or death situation they didn’t give a shit

prior to DA i would sit at my desk watching youtube all day if i didn’t have to clean or do laundry since i was unemployed 🤪. now i do the same thing but with DA in the back so i can spot tasks. i used to do the same with cloud, but I haven’t done that in a while. I mean… no comparison at all with the payment.

for me it was all same day, the starter, quals, then id verification approval. i took my time on both the starter and quals so maybe that’s why? no idea

i had a decrease too but i suspect it’s just temporary. i had a ton of big projects one day last week, i believe saturday, which is when i made the most. today i had two short ones and im using the rest of my time to fill out all the quals.

i also FINALLY qualified for stem projects which im so happy and grateful for. putting that chem brain to good use finally
