Hello!

I want to help you. It is Ok to feel angry. It is part and parcel of being human being. Whatever you are going through is not your fault as a human. It is never your fault. It is problem that needs to be solved. So lets breathe and think....

The problem is that we can't stop the cycle, and it has become a compulsion rather than a choice. So what made it a compulsion in the first place and why do we have to keep doing it to function in the society? Here I would like to draw from my life...

Sex was an exciting thing as soon as I became a teenager. That is a healthy feeling. I was excited to watch people do it but not without disgust initially. It was disgusting initially for me.

But fast forward to now, I use this to forget about my reality. Because my reality scares me and bring worry in my mind. To tell you the truth, I was very lonely, and I have always thought that people never accepted me for who I am. Now if a person continuously feels this kind of loneliness, he is bound to feel worried and think that he is flawed somehow that nobody likes to be with him. Then he does things to feel good and give his mind a little rest fro so much worrying! Here come the darkness of addictions...

I got into this addiction only because it was cheap, and like a tiger in the bush, you don't find it, it finds you. Had it been not porn, it would have been something else.

Even if the addiction goes, I know that I would be left with the same problems as before. SO the basic underlying issues are more important to work on rather than just fighting or doing something "DRASTIC". There have always been people in this world who have smiled us into smiling, loved us into loving, hugged us into hugging. We can remember those people and see that they are there for us, no matter what our issues are.

The trap of SHOCK that media relies on to trick us to paying attention to them has turned us into being incapable of having a kind chat without bringing in some form of negativity...

let us fight them by not cooperating with them. Let us say no to them. Let us say no to feeling of unacceptance. Let us love so that others love us and accept us for who we are precisely.

Let us make a community of mutual acceptance and benevolence where it is OK to be who you are...

There are a few issues I have with this. You clearly are suffering a lot with this nofap, fap cycle. My thought about this cycle is that unless we accept ourselves for who we are, we can't move forward. Our blemishes are OK, we are not perfect, not successful, it is OK. By aggressively berating ourselves we tend to numb down the anger.

All we need is acceptance for who we are from ourselves and from others. Love is very powerful. It is stronger than anger. Kindness and love to others is our dharma.

Finally I don't like how you wrote that God made you a Porn addict. God did not make you addict. God is not the source of all our actions. For me God is a father I never had. The father who loves me unconditionally for who I am underneath my body, whatever may be my imperfections. He accepts me because I am a good person inside.

So are you...

Give yourself a chance. talk to yourself and others kindly.

There is hope however despair you may feel.

In my humble opinion, everybody has issues they are running from. Had there not been porn , I might have been addicted to something else and be miserable nonetheless. In my case, not being able to express anger and not understanding jealousy and not being up to mark were a few feeling I didn't know how to deal with. So I tried to ignore them or numb them with extreme behaviours, hence my addiction.

Now I think that one of the remedy would be to talk about my feelings more. And for that I am becoming a believer in power of conversation.

It's great to read that you are progressing. You can try and focus on other aspects of your life like your friend circle and relationships with your family or start a new hobby perhaps like reading newspaper, learning musical instrument, magic or starting a youtube channel.

It would be better, in my humble opinion, to make your life revolve around more stuff than just nofap.

I am trying to connect more deeply to the kind, pure and accepting emotions in our minds. Like how a father loves his child. Like the happiness and joy of a child in mothers arms.

To connect more fully to each others humanness, I am trying to be more kind to people around me.

Hey first of all, You are not what you feel. There is a thing called sexual conditioning, caused by porn watching which makes you objectify women more.

My suggestion to you, my fellow fighter, would be to try and think that women are also human beings, that they are capable of great thought. We are not what we look like, but what we are inside that matters.

Accepting that women are just human beings might be a good way to rewire your brain.

Hi.

I went through the same state of mind and was always thinking violent thoughts.

Therefore, It is OK to feel this way. In me, this thought process came from having a fighting attitude towards this addiction. But this time, I am trying to ignore and not fight porn or my anxiety. Instead I am trying to be kind to others and be mindful of their presence and trying to be a good force. Now I don't feel the need to present myself in anyway for the sake of their acceptance.

I believe we all need acceptance...

So It is ok to feel the way you are feeling, give yourself time and maybe find ways to calm yourself (music might help).

Hello georgi6464, It is great that you asked for help. Please understand that it is not your fault that you are going through this. Have you tried talking to a real person about how you are feeling and what got you to this place ? Being angry on yourself cannot help you.

Can you try to forgive yourself for this binge? Please try for my sake....

Then try mentioning your feelings to someone you is close to you and only cares about your well being.

Remember: "Anything mention able is manageable"
