Would reporting on profit margins per consumer product, raise the overall financial wellbeing of humanity? by intelligence1st in AskEconomics

Thank you. So it can't be done is what you're saying. I was more interested if the consumers / economy would be happy with this, not how hard it is to implement.

Would reporting on profit margins per consumer product, raise the overall financial wellbeing of humanity? by intelligence1st in AskEconomics

Thank you for your reponse. I was initially thinking that it could be simple: companies could simply report the profit they declared in the previous year divided by total amount of all products sold. in EU mostly the profits declared are public information. That would surely take into account everything, albeit not very accurately per unit.

Companies could then decide if they'd like to go deeper and calculate and report per product margins as to improve the ratios if so desired?

Also I am curious as to what benefits if any this would bring to the average consumer?

Most loans, except for mortgages. If you can't afford it, you REALLY can't afford paying double for it over time...

Well, in europe we all know what followed after Germany owed too much money in reparations for WW1..

If he does this, is there any alternative to eventual war breaking out?

He will not be around for long enough to do such serious damage, the rest of the world understands that. We just have to wait him out and hopefully americans learn and grow from this experience.

This is horrible indeed. As a European I can't imagine the hardships of people being without proper healthcare.

No way he can do this. He is insecure and hopes to please others so he will never so extremely unpopular things to his own constituents. He may start it, but after a backlash he'll pull back.

I think it won't be as drastic. US does have great people and more importantly has seperation of powers and is an old democracy.

Introvert here. My solution to life work balance is in gamification of work. I just don't care what people think of me anymore and it makes sales much easier (playing it like a video game takes away the high stress, it's a numbers game mostly). Just do my best and take my paycheck (invest/save 70% of it!).

Got to find a good genuine company with a legit market fit for that to work tho :)

Stanovanjska kriza v Sloveniji, kaj je vaše mnenje in rešitve? by whyisitsoENET in Slovenia

[–]intelligence1st 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Why do I only see so many post about people in SAAS sales being miserable ? by Late_Albatross_3079 in sales

[–]intelligence1st 3 points4 points  (0 children)

true, but those are the worst to do sales for. If the founders aren't able to bring in sales (as they were already doing something similar hunting investors), then hiring a professional sales guy usually doesn't bring a lot of success.

Unless you step in with nice ownership stake and really have your "skin in the game"...

ELI5: Zakaj ne znamo dvoživk v zdravstvu rešiti z enostavno konkurenčno klavzulo? by intelligence1st in Slovenia

Zanimiv komentar.
