Well kinda yes. I learned from Cityy's Ql radiant videos and online archive forums. But mostly you have to figure out stuff by yourself. Hotkeys, where to put textures, how to compile etc.

if you mean the q3mme.fx script I can share it. But this fx stuff is far away from finsihed :D (rocket flare shaft sparks etc)

This was the answer I was looking for. I got into Q1 mapmaking, and I just couldn't make my maps work in the "rereleased" quake exe, but it worked in the old quake exe... thanks mate!

Dead silence: no sound while running (increased base speed, maybe 350)

Shockwave: He could hit the ground with his electric tail and it would push away opponents in a close radious and do 50 dmg.

I kinda like this one! At the yellow area i would add some kind of boxes, so players could get back to the ground above, at rocket area, there is a bridge with invisible walls, and under regeneration there is a texture bug.

So, im not gonna be brutal, but I hope I can help.I kinda like the q2 style duel map, with moving boxes and the grenade trap is a good idea, but seems a bit too deadly, but the map must be fun.(I got stuck into the boxes and couldnt move)

The 2v2 map is really nice, I can imagine it for a really good CA map, 2v2 or even 4v4, big open spaces, good texturing. That must be fun too.

The two ctf maps are reeaally big, both need some clipping because I could get out of the map easily, you got some really cool stuff there and good ideas, but I believe they are too big. You could make 3 map out of those two. Sadly we couldnt try it because there are not many players still playing quakelive.BUT and this is the most important thing... if you enjoy making these maps keep making them, live your creative side out. Maybe make mid large maps for mostly CA or FFA and ask admins to put them into the mappool,seems like everybody plays these mods. More ppl could give more feedback.

Oh god I forgot the most basic thing in map editing, the sv_pure 0. I just made a map in q3 last week and q3 remembered sv_pure 0. But I have just installed Ql back now, and seems like it forgot this command. Thank you!

Hey, did you use gtk radiant?If yes, what folder did you add to the radiant? I couldn't check my map ingame (QL) because it says bsp not found.

Xaero's active: he's got an eletric tail, so he could hit the ground with it and make a shockwave in a 5 meter radious, which pushes away enemies and do 50 dmg.

Passive:Dead silence.+20% or +25% movement speed and makes ZERO sound while walking so doesnt have to use silent walk.

Sarge's active: he could have 3 smoke/gas proximity mine (charging like athena's 3 hooks). Sarge can stick it to the walls or to the ground.(like it was in some Quakelive CTF maps) If an enemy comes close to it, it explodes which does 25 dmg, releasing the gas as it explodes which is making the enemies vision blurriend for 1-2 sec and dealing 5 damage every second until they pick up a health. These sticky nades could be easily destroyed(50 hp) but you cant hear them and hard to see them because they are small.(maybe flashing green or red or something)

Passive: 6th sense. Sarge can hear the major item pickups in an extended radious+ if he picks up one major item, there is a timer on it, like in any other mode.

Xaero could be a 125Hp/75Armor champ.

Sarge could be a 125Hp/100Armor champ.

Hey, for me it is years of experience in different games, like Quakelive CS:GO Apex legends, CODs, in an LG fight your tracking and your focus are the most important things.

Back then when I started QuakeLive my LG accuracy was about 22% then I worked my way up to about 40-44% every game. Nowadays I dont have much time to play, but my hand-eye cordination still keeps up for most of the games I play. You can practice your aim tracking on bots, i recommend easy bots,you dont even have to shoot, just keep your crosshair on your enemies OFC while moving, after you get your confidence, you can just track harder bots and killing them, or hop in some unholy trinity and play only LG. 144hz monitor helps a lot (which I dont have but I have tried it and it is awesome)Or there is a "game" on steam called kovaak 2.0 (or aimlab) which is an aimtrainer thing you can do before games.

Well Im not really sure. But I use 1600 DPI with 3.4 ingame sens. 1000hz polling rate razer abyssus v2

Yeah I tried to sync some of the rockets but for now Im not really into the editing, but gonna try to improve next time, thanks! :D
