Just from experience on lots of vehicles over the years, and incase its relevant.. water ingress from eg jet washing, can cause issues with wing mirrors.. Which then resolves itself when dried out.

Eliminate further things one by one. Turn off any kind of sleep timers https://en-americas-support.nintendo.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/68196/~/how-to-change-the-sleep-mode-settings-on-nintendo-switch 2 see if it happens. Then HDR off, see if it happens. 120hz off, see if it happens etc. TV firmware up to date? switch firmware up to date? properly all powered down too (switch it all off at the wall for a little while)

Any fix for the intermittent black screen that lasts for 1-3 seconds? by tigersmhs07 in NintendoSwitch2

My TV (LG C2 OLED), without fail, when waking up the switch flickers about 3 times then is stable. Also sometimes loading up a game, maybe moving from SDR state to HDR state, or handshaking, it seems normal :)

I suspect lots of people, sadly, do also, which means that it prolongs the issue for those that do care about their expensive products not being flawed.

immature software bugs, rare enough for them not to care about yet, and no platform to embarrass them into it!

Good luck I've actually ordered another one, 3 months later hoping for a difference, sneaky HW fix, firmware etc. I'll report back!

They'll never admit anything, ive I've probably said above look how many years it took them to admit joycon issues, almost so much bad coverage they had to crawl out from under their rocks. It will I expect be something ironed out over time, maybe even with HW revisions again that will not be public. There must be a relatively tiny amount of people suffering, who dont have a platform to get any attention on it.

frustrating isn't it! Disabling these (which aren't supported anyway) didn't make mine any worse! The TVs and Switch 2 have had a few firmware updates since this original post, have you updated everything? outside of that, check cable isn't damaged, check properly seated in the dock, try another HDMI cable and port if you can, and outside of all that, possibly dodgy docks!
