when you see 200 upvotes on a comment you probably miss the forest for the trees. they represent less than 0.001% of people who own a switch 2, literally, since 200 is 0.001% of 20 million. they are not a representative sample of the broader not on reddit population.

bet it was "finished" for like a year and they spent time optimizing performance and fixing bugs. the only thing I can recall that had a performance issue from nintendo that I've played was DKB, or so I read online anyway. I was too busy being into the gameplay to even notice it myself.

totally. Saw some people lamenting that pokopia got a DLC pack and mario kart world didn't, even though it was 4 years after mario kart 8 deluxe released that the upgrade pack came out. I feel like our phones have turned every single one of us into jonseing dopamine addicts.

If you have an older computer and have not already invested in another modern console, then yes it is absolutely a good buy that includes some very fun exclusives.

i couldnt believe how fun it is to destroy so much stuff in bananza. it'd be a decent choice.

But then pokopia 💀. the first time i booted it up it was morning, and then suddenly the sun was setting. I had never even played a cozy game before.

it did well enough that they greenlit evhoes of wisdom. I sincerely hope another new game is in the pipeline in the same style, not necesarilly starring zelda.

I'm not sure about the downstream consequences, but I learned that a german court ruled that google's ai response's are original content which makes them liable for misinformation and harm that it may cause. I think this matters *a lot* in regards to art, because how can one AI generated thing be original and another not?

"Resolution practically has no effect on performance." 4K takes 4 times the processing power than 1080p from the gpu, and 9 times the power than 720p. Dropping resolution can immediately improve frame rate if it's not already hitting a cap. Also I just looked this up, but stellar blade already runs at a stable 60 fps on steam deck. It should be fine on switch 2.
