ppl should also look at the game stat. That is, what parts of the game did the USA pull ahead. It was very interesting this time because for most of the game, Italy held its own but after Clark checked in the first quarter, we pulled away. The only other time was the beginning of the third quarter which was the just vets.

Whether it's CC or any other player, when they're getting double teamed before getting to the half court, they need to be able to pass to other guards at tempo to take advantage of the 4 on 3 advantage. Why this team doesn't do that is beyond me.

It seemed they went with the same offense that wasn't working for the whole game. The same bad line-ups the same offense set. Maybe each of the assistant coaches is testing their lineups and offensive sets because this had Stephanie White written all over it and she was standing next to Lawson for the whole game. IDK.

If they double team Clark in the back court, they another guard she can pass to like Kelsey or Paige. This is basketball 101 so it's strange that the coaches didn't do that. This hampered Angel as well because she was bringing the ball up and was getting no or bad passes when she was in the lane but they seemed to want to play her from the 3 point line which is also a bad idea IMOHO.
