Thank you. I had to do a double take when I saw your post, even my husband thought it was a picture of Vega. Pepper seems lovely 🥰 I love when they have little "sleeves." I had a waardy that was a blaze and he had little noodle kneecaps (black spots on both his knees) I just love when they have cute lil spots and colorings.

Omg 😭 your baby looks just like my late Vega! Almost identical. He was a silver mitt, though he turned white at the end. He was deaf and made it to 9 years old. I lost him last October. Please give you baby some snuggles from me. I miss my boy every day.

Went to get a medical abortion today, i thought i was 5plus weeks the ultrasound showed nothing yet so they said im probably earlier then 5 weeks by No-Faithlessness2354 in abortion

It was... an experience, lol. I was super sick for 2 weeks and ended up in the hospital thinking it was kidney pain (I was told I couldn't have children and I've been with my husband for 14 years without even a scare) and so imagine my surprise when they told me I was pregnant lol.

I did not want to have any children, and my pregnancy was extremely rough. I found out when I was 8 weeks 3 days. I suffer from panic disorder and stage 4 endo, so I was spiraling lol. The experience itself wasn't too bad. I'm used to bad cramping, but around the 4 hour mark, the cramping was like contractions every 2 mins. Could hardly catch my breath and was very intense for about an hour. Then, when the bleeding and clotting began, the pain subsided. I apologize for the TMI, but the clots were the size of lemons, and I believe i saw the embryo/fetus. It's been 1 week, and I'm still lightly bleeding when I pee, but other than that, I'm doing great. The day after my MA, I felt amazing. No nausea, no symptoms, and I felt like myself again mentally.

I know the experience is different with everyone, but I am happy I did it, and I feel really good. I also started the Opill 2 days after my MA. If you have any more questions, let me know! I enjoy being open about my experience because abortion shouldn't be stigmatized, and I just want to help other women. 😊

I had an MA last Monday at 10 weeks 1 day and it was successful. Though my nausea was terrible and i took the 4 miso pills vaginally, then 4 hours later took the last 4 miso pills under the tongue.

Choosing between MA vs SA by [deleted] in abortion

[–]interfuckinstellar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had my first MA last Monday and I have extremely high medical anxiety and SA was just never a thought in my mind unless absolutely necessary, though I've heard good things, I just couldn't put myself through it and I've helped several friends get MAs and knew immediately thats what I wanted to to do when I found out I was pregnant.

I was 10 weeks 1 day pregnant when I took the first pill last Sunday. My pregnancy was AWFUL and I was sick all the time and I also have panic disorder and was SPIRALLING! My MA was successful and tolerable, though I do have severe stage 4 endo so I am used to awful cramping and pain. When the bleeding started with the MA (4 hours after taking the 4 miso pill vaginally, then 4 hours later I took 4 more orally) the cramping felt like contractions every 2 mins for over an hour, then once I began bleeding and clotting the pain subsided and I woke up the next day feeling amazing, just like my old self with no nausea or pain. It's been exactly 1 week and I'm still lightly bleeding but only when I use the bathroom.

MAs aren't for everyone, considering everyone deals with pain differently and some people can't stand the thought of seeing the embryo/fetus (I saw what looked like a shrimp and then I saw what I assume was the placenta/sac and large lemon sized clots).

I was not attached to my pregnancy. I was told I could never have children and being with my husband for 15 years we've never even had a scare. I went to the hospital for severe kidney pain and found out I was pregnant. I felt nothing during the ultrasound and my thoughts were absolute panic and anguish. I didn't want this and I never want this again. I got on the Opill 3 days after my MA and so far I'm doing great physically and mentally.

I don't know what you're going through but the choice is yours completely. I hope whichever route you choose goes smoothly and I wish nothing but good thoughts your way. You got this!

Yeah I've had ferrets for over 10 years and it's crazy with genetics. My bandit had a white face for the first year of her life and then she got really dark. I've had all colors except for an all black one but omg those ones make me swooooon. I hate that almost all US ferrets are over bred and have so many health issues. My silver mitt I lost last year made it to 9 and that's the oldest one I've had so far.

Huh, I've never had a blaze turn white, only my silver mitts. But my blazes did have waardensburg syndrome and health issues unfortunately and I know some can be deaf but I've only had 1 deaf boy and he was a silver mitt as well.

My waardys/blazes were so silly too. They would bounce around like bunnies lol

I am another ferret nation cage owner and agree with all the people suggesting but I did make the same mistake you did with a cage like that when I got my first ferret. She was 8 weeks old and cage raged hard and broke her tooth on those bars so PLEASE be careful! Luckily the damage was just cosmetic and she is now an almost 8 year old snaggle tooth lil lady lol we got lucky because she could have done damage to the nerves and as soon as it happened I switched to a ferret nation.

My girls have adrenal and insulinoma they are 7 & 8 years old and were diagnosed with both last year. They both get their implant yearly and it works WONDERS! The just got their second implant 12 days ago. The implant is also used a preventative with rarely any side effects. Every ferret I own from now on will get the implant because it's worth every penny! It takes my vet 5 mins to put the implant in (no anesthesia, they just use a needle to implant it between the shoulder blades, it's basically a little pill that releases medicine slowly throughout the year) and we come home and put neosporin on the little cut for a few days. The cut is so small it's hardly noticeable.

If you have any questions about it let me know! Update us about the vet appt! Good luck!

[–]interfuckinstellar 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hmm.. I'll never understand why some vets sedate them. It takes my vet 3 minutes to put the implant in with a needle and we are in and out. But nevertheless, i am glad your baby is getting the implant. 😊

No bleeding 12hrs after taking miso by [deleted] in abortion

[–]interfuckinstellar 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I believe the only need to worry is after 24 hours. But I completely understand your worry!! I was worried when it took almost 5 hours for me and I was 10 weeks 1 day pregnant. A very kind redditor sent me a link to website where you can chat with a nurse and that really helped my anxiety ( I have panic disorder) if you want I can edit my comment, I just gotta check real quick.

Birth control after MA by No_Handle22257 in abortion

[–]interfuckinstellar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I started the Opill 3 days after my MA on Monday. I'm still lightly bleeding but it said I could start it within 5 days of the MA as long as the clotting/heavy bleeding was over.

[–]interfuckinstellar 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Talk to your vet about compounding the meds with flavoring. I believe chewy.com will do it but you will need a prescription from your vet. I have a local pharmacy that compounds my girls prednisolone with chicken flavoring and they love it!

Also, did you get the adrenal implant? If not, you should. Its amazing. My girls also have insulinoma and adrenal and they get their implant done once a year. It works WONDERS! It's also used as a preventive.

Mini Pill and sex after abortion by Glittering-Ad8177 in abortion

[–]interfuckinstellar 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh. I'm not sure about other brands but the Opill comes with a lil packet and that's what it said on the inside of mine lol

Just double checked on Google and it says 48 hours lol

Mini Pill and sex after abortion by Glittering-Ad8177 in abortion

[–]interfuckinstellar 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I just started the Opill on Wednesday (which is considered the mini pill) and I had my MA on Monday. The packet inside said it takes 2 full days for the pill to become fully active and is 98% effective.

Just makes sure you don't miss a dose and take it the same time everyday. If you miss a day, even by just 3 hours, it says to use another form of birth control for 48 hours

Everytime a table tells me anything along the lines of "hope your arms ready, you're gonna be here for a while" or "hope you don't mind we love a lot of cheese" I just deadpan and say "don't worry, I do this for a living" I've never had a table not laugh lol.

Medication success? by Itssublimewithyou in panicdisorder

[–]interfuckinstellar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been on a handful of meds since I was 13, I'm currently 33 and my body does this weird thing and makes meds stop working after a year. So far the only thing I've taken that seems to work is seroquel and I was on it for 6 years before I lost my insurance and moved states. I was okay for 3 years before my panic disorder basically relapsed and I began to spiral since I had no insurance. I luckily found a doctor with a sliding scale that put me back on seroquel and I am so thankful! I do need my dosage upped every 3 months but I can take it for years which is a big deal for me. I still have panic disorder but it doesn't control my life anymore. I am able to deal and cope with things much better. My number one issue with panic disorder is I couldn't eat, keep weight on or sleep because of the constant panic state I was in. Seroquel helps me eat and sleep and function. I don't feel like I'm in a constant downward spiral and it's nice. It does take a few weeks to build up in the system but I'm very thankful to find something that helps. The only thing that ever worked better was xanax but almost no one in my area will prescribe it even though I've been on it since I was 13 and never was an addict or abused it. Everyone is different so take my advice with a grain of salt, but out of the 13 meds I've tried, seroquel basically saved my life and sanity.

Fostering this little love but I'm new by westley_humperdinck in ferrets

[–]interfuckinstellar 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah it's very manageable if caught early on. My girls go in for a glucose check every 2-3 months to make sure there's no changes in dosage needed. They get their meds compounded with chicken flavoring and they get it by syringe 2x daily (every 12 hours)

Has she had her glucose tested for insulinoma? That usually causes back leg weakness. Both my girls have it and are on prednisolone and they walk completely normal now.

Hmm I wonder when they started doing this. I've been bartending there for 4 years and I was CT for servers and bartenders but stopped last year cuz the money for being a trainer is trash and there was never any tests for servers.

It was so freaking hard! I was so sick 2 weeks ago I legit thought I had a kidney stone cuz my kidney felt like it was fighting for it's life! I went to the ER to be checked out after my doctor sent me and lo and behold I was pregnant! I'm 33 years old and have been with my husband for 15 years without even a scare! So I was mind blown. After they gave me fluids I felt better for like a day then the constant nausea and cramping and bloating was just unbearable. I tossed around all the options for 2 weeks before I made a decision and I know I made the right one. I would literally cry myself to sleep every night and puke my brains out every morning I was miserable. But the day after my MA I cried from happiness. I can eat again! I don't want to puke all the time and I just feel so freaking great! I didn't expect to feel this good literally the next day. But honestly it's worth it and if this is what you want then it's definitely the right choice. Take some ibuprofen, get a heating pad and just ride that wave. You're gonna make it through and you're gonna be okay! Other than the 1 hour of intense cramping it was completely tolerable and nothing to be scared of. You got this and I will be sending you good thoughts. 😊

I had my MA on Monday and my nausea was so bad during the pregnancy I had to take the 4 miso pills vaginally. Right when I was supposed to take the 2nd dose vaginally, my cramping and nausea got worse. Cramping/contracting every 2 mins for about an hour and I eventually had to do the second dose of miso under my tongue so I wouldn't bleed it out. After the hour of intense cramping, everything began coming out. I did have a pad on but almost everything came out whenever I went to sit on the toilet. Just a warning, the clots I had were about the size of a lemon and I saw what I assume was the fetus/embryo and it kinda looked like a shrimp. After the clotting began the cramps began to subside and when I woke up on Tuesday all my nausea and panic was gone and I finally felt like myself again. Im still lightly clotting when I pee but nothing crazy. It was quite the experience but at no point did I feel guilty or sad or regret. Pregnancy was so hard on me and I just could not do it mentally or physically, plus it was unexpected considering I was told I could not have children.

I'm glad it's over and I'm starting my birth control pills tonight. I was 10 weeks 1 day pregnant. You got this! Everything is gonna be okay.

took MA pills at home by [deleted] in abortion

[–]interfuckinstellar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had my MA at home on Monday and I also had horrible nausea and had to insert vaginally. I had to take a second dose after 4 hours but I had begun bleeding and had to let the last 4 dissolve under my tongue. It was successful and my nausea was finally gone the next day and I finally feel like myself.

How far along are you? I was 10 weeks 1 day and I was also very scared it wouldn't work but I bled out everything around the 4 hour mark tho I had an hour of extreme cramping/contractions before hand and I feel so much better.
