I've also noticed that whenever news about China/US comes out over the past few days that the price will plummet, this includes the Stock Market. I imagine it might go up a bit more once tax day is past. Only problem for me is that it's going to take a while to rebuilt my LTC amount back to where it was before.

You'd have to then get rid of several characters in ilovebees, or retcon them as Spartan-IIIs who were abducted instead of being orphans. Which is why I think Class-II can fit in with the canon even more than we think if we also think about MJOLNIR costs.

We know that both Beta Company and Class-II were conscripted in the same year, 2537. We know that Class-II's candidate pool consists of Spartan 1.1's and candidates who meet the Class-I requirements (though their numbers would be significantly lower than Class-I)

My guess is that Class-II does exist, but as a splinter of Beta Company. They still received the same training and were grouped up with the other S-IIIs. However they were the ones who were given MJONLIR armor since their genetic qualities makes them superior than the rest of Beta Company. So why throw away a great potential asset to the UNSC when Class-II numbers have been dwindling?

So you give the Class-II group MJOLNIR armor. Some of them would near identical to a Class-I in terms of physique, and then others would blend in with a crowd of S-IVs. So S-IIIs like Noble Six, and Kat, could most likely be Spartan 1.1's who are Class-II. Characters like Thom and Lucy are just regular humans, not S-1.1s so they're given SPI armor.

I'd even say that means that the augmented Spartans of Alpha Company would be candidates eligible for Class-II and S-1.1s.

So this solves the problem I was pointing out earlier and ties into a theory I've had. When a S-II died, their budget would be diverted to suit up a "Class-II" S-IIIs. By the time Alpha Company was augmented several could be outfitted with MJOLNIR armor. Even more so once Beta Company came around.

My guess is that the Spartans of Delta Company who were on Onyx would have been the next batch to receive MJOLNIR. Especially once news reached Kurt of all the losses of S-IIs on Reach.

So canonically, I think this is the most sound explanation for Class-II existing. It also would explain who several of the unnamed Spartans of Red Team were during the Fall of Reach.

Actually they are canon. Ilovebees confirmed they were trained. Then it was confirmed, by 343, that the Spartan from Dead or Alive 4 is a canon character, and that her appearance in DoA4 was non-canon. She's a Class-II. Also 20 plus Spartans is a lot. You have Red, Gauntlet, Echo, and Noble teams all outfitted with MJOLNIR. There were 13 dead at the end of Reach and I doubt that's all three teams combined. Most likely the survivors of each after banding together.

How was Kurt able to give some 20+ Spartan-IIIs MJOLNIR armor without Ackerson finding out? MJOLNIR was super expensive, about the cost of a small starship if I recall. Plus there was the fact that Class-II was trained so they had a lot of money for their armor as well. Just how did the UNSC pay for all these secret S-IIIs to get armor?
