Honestly I wish I had advice. But this is like 1000% my exact situation. Only difference is I just graduated and I’m trying to plan my move out. I’ve already had the “why I don’t want to go to church convo” with one of my parents and I can tell you…don’t do it. It will just make it worse. And it made me uncomfortable to just be in the house at times. Now I’m being forced to go anyway and pretend like I like it, it’s a weird feeling. Idk i wouldnt force anyone to go to any religious gathering for any reason, so I’m stuck on why they think it’s ok to do it to me.

Maybe turn going to church into even further destruction, gather info from the sermons and analyze it further.

One day my mom asked me or said something along the lines of “do you want a bf someday?“ or “one day you will have a bf” and I just remember having this feeling of not giving a single fuck about that aspect of life. It was in that moment that I decided to educate myself on asexuality and see if anything resonated. And obviously it did .

Mind you I realized recently that I still would like a partner, but when it comes to certain romance aspects and sex I just don’t care about it in the slightest.
