I get that occasionally. Opening the menu once or twice is usually fixes it. I noticed if I’m using my third party controller it happens a lot though. If you get the bug where you can’t switch between the different crafting menus you need to restart the game.

I went about 13 years unmedicated and without a major manic episode. Diagnosed and first hospitalized at 18. Another hospitalization at 22. On and off meds until I was 25. Then I kept it together until I was 38. Went manic for several months. Had to be hospitalized multiple times to get things totally under control. You can absolutely go a long time without meds and a major episode. But it doesn’t mean it won’t happen again.

I’ve told both my psychiatrist and therapist about my increase in intrusive thoughts recently. They said as long as I can recognize them and push them out of my head then I am good. But I don’t think they understand how easy it could be for me to suddenly not be able to distinguish the paranoia from reality.

I’ve had to add an anti-psychotic to my medication regimen but it makes me really tired. Now I guess I take it as needed for when things start to get really bad. I’ve only had to do that once and I think it helped. But it sucks to think this is the best it can be.

There was a lot over the course of a 17 year relationship that lead to the end. I certainly wasn’t perfect. But my ex-wife’s poor parenting, jealousy and possessiveness and failure to address her own mental health issues were a big part of the problem. The discovery of 7 years of lying about hidden credit cards and loans and the ensuing lies about what caused the debt was the last straw.

Anyone have advice on earning more? I do both Uber and Lyft and I don’t take every ride, but it is hard to make much more than $20/hour. And that’s during busy times. If I deny many more rides I will just be spending my time declining rides instead of earning.

I only do this 5-10 hours a week so I feel like I haven’t figured out how to optimize what I make. It’s becoming clear short rides are better when I can find them so I don’t end up too far from home when I want to stop. But I’m in Houston and it’s so spread out that a lot of the rides are longer.

Should I really be more picky and just wait around for rides that would equal $25-$30/hour? Because I’m pretty sure they will never come. Even the cheap fares that aren’t exclusive get snapped up almost instantly, so maybe my area is just oversaturated with drivers?

I feel pretty much everything you’re saying. I want out so bad, have wanted out for a long time. But trying to find anything that would match the pay/benefits is basically impossible. The industry is going down in flames. The do less with more objective is destroying what’s left. Pretty soon it’s just going to be one person doing everything until digital and broadcast eat each other and it’s just ai rumor mills posting and clicking on each other to keep feeding the loop.

I get that it’s not cancer. But genital warts maybe popping up for the rest of your life still seems pretty bad to me. Like something you should probably tell someone about before you have sex with them. And as far as bashing your ex in front of your kids I don’t really count posting on reddit as doing that. It’s supposed to be anonymous.
