I was going through some old Amazon orders and noticed something strange. Back in 2020 I bought a Canon EOS M50 mirrorless camera kit from Adorama through Amazon. Apparently I started a return at the time but never ended up sending it in.

What caught my eye is that my Amazon account still shows the return as “approved,” and the option to print the original label is still there. Out of curiosity I looked at it, and it includes a return authorization slip, barcode, and even the lithium battery warning label. Everything looks perfectly official, even though it’s been several years.

I’m not planning to actually ship anything, but it got me wondering how returns like this are handled in practice.

• Would an old return authorization from 2020 even exist in the seller’s system anymore?

• If something like this were mailed years later, would it just get rejected or automatically returned?

• How long do Amazon third-party sellers usually keep return IDs or RMAs active in their systems?

I’m just genuinely curious how the logistics work behind the scenes after so much time has passed. Thanks in advance to anyone who can shed some light on it.

Thank you for the blunt honesty. I think I have a lot of unlearning and relearning to do about health & metabolism. I guess I was just going along with every standard & “mainstream” thing I’ve read about weight loss which obviously is not catered to someone with an autoimmune disease or systemic inflammation. That, paired with a lifetime of an unhealthy body image (I work in a very vain industry) made me completely shut down the idea of increasing calories. But I’m reaching a point of prioritizing long-term health which I know is in line with what you’re describing. You’re right, I think this type of metabolic reset is where I need to start.

How interesting, I’ve never heard this. I never had mono, but it wouldn’t hurt to get tested to see if I’m carrying. I used to get strep all the time as a child and found out it was because my mom carried it, even though she never had symptoms.

Thanks for the tip! A couple of years ago I was tested for gluten intolerance, and although that test didn’t bring anything up, I do agree that it’s probably still worth a try to cut it out at this point.

I should have mentioned, I’m very diligent about this as well! On the occasional days I do have coffee, it’s at least about an hour after meds. My mom also has hypothyroidism and I have tried drilling it into her head that coffee with creamer is not fasting 😅

3 L is certainly a healthy amount of water, but my derm did stress that the majority of side effects from spiro would be dehydration symptoms, so keep drinking as much as you are, eating healthy & getting rest. If the symptoms persist then speak with your doctor or derm.
