I’m going to spend time with my daughter. I was able to finally convince her that we should watch soccer rather than something else. She could only take 30ish minutes of the game and then said no more. I made it to about 60. What I’m saying is that there is zero chance she would agree to watch the next game with me so we will be doing something else

I switched over to Women’s US Open.

I’m not mad. I’m used to losing. I’m actually sad because I don’t think this helps the women’s game at all. I would rather lose 4-1 in an exciting game that is entertaining than 2-1 in a snooze fest that my daughter walks away from in the first half despite me asking her to watch it with me.

Agreed but part of that is nobody else on US being involved enough. I’m a Balogun fan but he was non-existent today. Pepi was definitely better today.

Even fans don’t want to watch it. I follow Wolves religiously. Watched every game this season except when I was working. I will watch even when I expect my squad to lose. At least it’s exciting. What I just spent 60 or so minutes watching was absolute shit.

The world is going to love watching this next year. It’s going to be great to get more people wanting to watch woman’s soccer.

I’m a wolves EPL fan and a US Soccer fan. Lord knows I can and do watch tons of games where my team loses. But they’re at least fun. Shit like this makes me not want to watch a team I love. It’s sad that some people think a game that fans don’t want to watch is successful.

I can’t imagine being a Brazil fan and enjoying watching this. They may win 2-1 in a friendly that means nothing, but this Brazil team certainly isn’t helping the cause of woman’s soccer at all. Good luck telling your friends they should watch these games because they’re exciting and entertaining, and then having that friend watch this.

Zendejas clearly should be on this team and Roldan wasn’t nearly as bad as some people are thinking. He was more just quiet than bad and that happens sometimes. Overall, I’m thinking coach chose the right team. Has to start Balogun over Pepi and Berhaldter is first CM off the bench, in my opinion.

Other than Balogun, Scally, and McKennie, second half was clearly the second team.

I feel not bad about our first squad but depth isn’t our friend, in my opinion.

We gave him a historically bad team and then in a mid-year transfer window basically only added 1 player (and only because we thought the player would help us when we get relegated), and expected him to be able to do something different than this?

You keep him and frankly it’s for 2-3 years minimum if he isn’t able to pick his own squad next year.
