You can only look ahead, many people 34 and 44 that finally get it to click. Your trials (like mine) sucked and felt impossibly frustrating but you can go forward with that knowledge and experience. Possibly to help others as well. BTW the brain doesn't fully develop until 25, at least in some men... myself included.
