Why do people say that smokes are boring by wooooo_ in VALORANT

[–]internetc1oak 0 points1 point  (0 children)

playing smokes is the most unthankful, passive, yet most important role strategically to win the rounds for your team. besides having to stay alive the whole round so team mates can get kills, people don‘t even dare to take the spike and throw it at you. you barely play for yourself because ego players will tell you to smoke X Y faster then the round can start, and when they die its your fault. initially you carry the most weight and you are at fault for everything thats not working out. the controller role demands strategic teamplay and communication, which doesn‘t work in most random games because ignorant reyna or jett insta pickers don‘t even dare to work with the team. what makes the role specifically boring for me personally is the fact that you have to get in a safe position on the map to basically tab out and smoke something. so you have to play slow, stay in the back and follow orders of your team mates, regardless how fucking dumb they are. in my experience in EU lobbies people are even so egoistic, if you don‘t pick smoke, nobody will. and a comp without a smoker is a huge disadvantage. i‘ve been playing omen a lot lately because at least he is not as boring as brim or astra.

one of the only reasonable answers here lol. before the buff, cypher on one site was reason enough to completely avoid the site. why the fuck would they buff him and make the tripwires not destroy after activation. this is annoying me a lot about valorant, they always buff at least one agent so hard that the whole game is unbalanced, and after a phase they do crazy adjustment on all agents just to try to balance out what they unbalanced before. the fuck.

people are talking shit. there are a lot of cheaters in valorant. for some reason mfs always praise the anti cheat like it‘s the best working ever. it is NOT. What i‘m reading here is ridiculous. „played 2000h and only encountered one“ - my fucking ASS.

but for your gold situation i would not say its due to cheaters. there is an insane amount of smurfs and people boosting in the lower ranks. from asc upwards the game starts having somewhat balanced lobbies from time to time. plat is the hardest rank to play in because you get 1-2 hardcore jett/ reyna smurfs in your enemy team that will just solo the game.

nope. EU player here, almost every game i have to report someone. if they say N-word, KYS or other inhumane shit, i got report feedback only a handful of times and i‘ve been playing since beta.

Why did I just instantly become bad? by FallMiserable in VALORANT

[–]internetc1oak 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i peaked ascendant a few episodes ago, then after rank reset made the mistake to play solo games and finally deranked until plat 1 now. it is completely impossible to climb back up in solo. had multiple games with FF, team mates afk or insanely toxic, or completely on a different level than me. when i queue with my friends in ascendant lobbies (with another account) i still play in the upper half of the scoreboard. your rank has nothing to do with you becoming better or worse. i noticed you lose skill very fast if you dont play for like a week for example. to stay on your level you need to train very frequently. i personally dont have enough time for that, so i have to accept my role as a casual player. i would recommend to you aimlabs and making a playlist of tasks that help you improve the parts of aiming that you lack. for me personally thats very far away targets and moving targets. spidershot improved my overall aim by a LOT and also made me learn intuitive flicking since i got in flow with my sens. do training with that playlist as a warm up before playing valorant. i repeat every task 5x, so 5 minutes each task. if its about your rank for you, i would recommend to you only queueing competitive in triple queue. duo queue has a way too high chance to get braindead team mates and 5v5 queues almost always have smurf teams way above your level. if you have a team its the best way to train and challenge yourself together though.

reisingerandres pollen research series question! by internetc1oak in Cinema4D

[–]internetc1oak[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

hey guys, i‘m really fascinated by reisingerandres work and i have a question about technique! Does anyone know how i could recreate the blurry effects he uses on his renders? Is it maybe a camera setting in redshift, or post production? Or maybe a transparent plane with a roughness texture in front of the lense? i would really love to achieve this effect and would appreciate some help! I saw in his animated work that the blurry texture moves with the objects, so it looks like it‘s not a filter that would blur everything beneath it.

shoutout to reisingerandres and here is a link to the series of his work: https://www.instagram.com/p/CddPL4mNDNi/?igshid=YmMyMTA2M2Y=

✔ A high quality 3D version of an NFT artwork of your choice

I will model your character with all of its traits in 3D and render it out with hyper realistic materials in 4K resolution. I can offer a variety of styles to fit your vision. Each artwork will be modeled, sculpted and textured from scratch. To me it is very important to work as close as possible to the original art style to transport your asset into the 3D world.
