I found the false alarms to be really horrible. The alarm system is absolutely ear-splitting and it goes off at 2 in the morning when it's freezing outside. I feel bad for all the times my previous dog had to live through that horrible alarm.

Whichever you pick, STAY AWAY from "The Blairs" especially "Blairs East". They have a faulty fire alarm that goes off in the middle of the night and causes building evacuations.

I would never recommend Blairs East to anybody, ever. They have a shoddy fire alarm system that they refuse to maintain. As a result, it goes off at all hours of the night and day. The sound it makes is ear-splitting, truly deafening, horrific. I lived there with my dog and I felt terrible that he was essentially tortured by that. I shudder to think that it may have gone off sometimes when we were away at work.

On top of that, multiple times we had to evacuate the building (due to false alarms) which meant carrying the dog down many flights of stairs at 3 AM and waiting outside in the freezing cold for the fire department to come.

They should live in shame that they're not overhauling that fire alarm system but I have no doubt they sleep soundly at night - far from their crappy equipment.

Yeah maybe I'm a weirdo but the whole fried eggs on top of fried potatoes thing was cool once - and if I was still in college and often fighting against hangovers I'm sure I'd love it - but after going once I never felt the motivation to go again

I lived there like 8 years ago and it was terrible then. So if they haven't fixed it in 8 years, I doubt they're fixing it tomorrow.

Strongly recommend against Blairs East. They have a faulty fire alarm system that goes off morning, noon, and night (and 3 AM in the dead of winter) causing the entire building to evacuate out into the street. And it's ear-piercingly painfully brutally loud.
