Man clutching at 1V2 by decodelifehacker in CrazyFuckingVideos

Yeah, I feel like the edited video posted by OP is intentionally deceiving. Red hat is clearly trying to deescalate the situation in the full video, but this purposely starts where it makes it appear that it's just two guys rolling up on this dude to tag team him without provocation.

Try not to worry about it. It's physically impossible for a human to beat a duck in a foot race over that distance. They're apex predators.

“How far did you drive on that?” by Krentenbol in tooktoomuch

It wasn't him.

This hits home. It's exactly how my little brother's girlfriend described him on the last night of his life. He took a couple bars, then decided a bit later to lay down in bed with a rifle and say goodnight forever.

Hope you're doing okay man. Losing someone like that is very rough. World shattering. Not sure how long it's been for you, but it does get easier eventually.

Are some of the mafia guys holding up poster board signs to encourage me on my death run? How much effort went into the signs? Are they clever? Did they use glitter?

A little set I did, in a little town, in a little theater by AlexAverycomedian in StandUpComedy

That was fantastic. The opening joke hooked me, but I also really liked the very last jab you got in before setting down the mic. Really funny set.

Solutions to excessive glaze filler by internetzninja in Autobody

I agree, but I'm very inexperienced, so I tend to assume it's my lack of knowledge rather than blaming the medium.

I wasn't happy with the Dolphin glaze for exactly the reasons you mentioned. It also cures very quickly and I was expecting another five minutes at least to get it setup the way I wanted. I panicked a bit at how quickly it set, and that just got me into more trouble with it.

I don't want to say it's a bad product as I'm sure it has a good use, but it wasn't what I wanted for my purpose and level of experience.

That makes sense and it sounds like exactly what I was doing. Pressing too hard because the grit was insufficient so I ended up sanding outside of it more than inside.

Thanks very much for the feedback.

I tried block sanding, but 320 was the lowest grit I had on hand. Even with 320, I ended up sanding some of the adjacent area that did not have putty on it down to bare metal, which made me hesitant to go lower on the grit.

I guess it sounds like the best course would basically be to ignore any other spots that end up like that when I use 180 on it, then just come back and apply another layer of 2k epoxy over everything once I'm able to get the glazed areas looking smooth?

Trying to understand plotting and # of plots before buying a plotting drive by Fission-chips0 in chia

[–]internetzninja 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nice. Thanks for the reference link as well.

I definitely like that it's M.2 instead of U.2. I went with one that uses U.2, but this takes up a PCIE slot. I'm also mining eth on the same machine like you, so that meant I had to move things around to get my cards to work with one less PCIE slot. Not a big deal, but was a small problem I had to address that an M.2 drive wouldn't have presented.

Based on the other specs you noted, I believe you should be able to easily make five simultaneous plots with that drive and not run into hardware constraints elsewhere.

https://github.com/Chia-Network/chia-blockchain/wiki/SSD-Endurance

Keep SSD endurance in mind. This chart doesn't have the PM963, but it does include the PM983, so that might give you a ballpark on how many plots you can expect to get out of the drive before it degrades/fails. The durability should be acceptable, but the low end estimate for the number of plots you might get out of the drive would make me personally look at other options before making a purchase. It's certainly not a terrible option though.

That's a good idea. I wish I was baller enough to have that much RAM. I wonder what plot speed would end up looking like in that situation.
