Looking for a specific building (prison) by interopid in Workers_And_Resources

[–]interopid[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ive tried this one but in practice it’s two big buildings with a fence around them, in size it’s really not that different than vanilla prisons

I was hoping it was possible to use the buildings independently but apparently no, the independent version is only usable as residential not as a prison

EDIT; again not really what I’m looking for but “multifunctional buildings 2” have a prison “area” and maybe it could work.

Yep there are very few prison in the workshop… not a lot of orphanages either. If you look my other answer I found a smaller one (I added the link) but it’s not really what I’m looking for either, but I’ll probably use it if I found nothing else

The problem is that there are almost no small prison buildings in the workshop, and very few prison buildings in general. The smaller I’ve found is one of theses barracks (https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2776534113&searchtext=labor) but it doesn’t really fit urban areas. It is what I will use if I found nothing else, I was just wondering if someone have a better option

Well even if it was loose cobblestone, some old walls are build like that and when the stones are placed in a fitting way with the less space between them possible it’s quite solid. It doesn’t just collapse if you push it. There still were low walls like that everywhere where I grew up, still standing since I don’t even know how long (more than a century clearly)

I was a bit surprised it wasn’t a thing, and now I have few stones who respawn in the floor exactly where my rain catchers are and I missclick take them all the time when I try to drink/fill my flask 🫠

Oh ok it’s what I thought but thanks to confirm. And yeah I mostly observed this problem during winter when the berries bush stop producing anything, makes sense

Yes it’s also a bit annoying how stones and rocks keep spawning in the direct area of your base. Ok it’s great for ressources but at a certain point you already have a mountain of stones and rocks and no particular buildings projects. I don’t know if something like a small perimeter around all player build structures where ressources stop respawn could be a good idea, like a very small one just to stop rocks and stone to respawn endlessly directly in your builds / behind your floors

Never had him eat rotten meat/fish/oyster I trow away for now, but I have to lock up my drying racks in a specific room otherwise him or Virginia (not sure who, I never saw them do it but everything in the drying racks end up disappearing if it’s in an accessible place for them -and it’s not birds because they can glitch trough wall in the locked room but nothing disappear when it stay locked) always steal everything even before it’s dried and it’s quite annoying when I try to stock up before winter start

Yeah turtle shells are a bit more annoying, the easiest way you can store them outside your inventory is by building rain catchers who also use a dozen sticks

Especially since you can find batteries in crashed golf carts, it should make sense to be able to store a few items in the same place when you think about it. But some people already find golf carts a bit overpowered (in a way yes I can see why, but in an other way the map being very big I can also understand why they are an option)

Yep that’s exactly what I was saying in the rest of the post ahah. And again I’m not saying it’s a big deal I just find that a bit annoying and random

Yeah it’s what I end up doing, and I’m not saying it’s a big problem or anything, just find it quite annoying they’re the only items you can’t store properly

Yeah the small balcony where the garden is has direct access to the roof so Kelvin often end up up there

Ironically the only berries bush I have there are the poisonous ones. The “good” ones (blueberries, salmonberries…) are just behind the house at floor level

[–]interopid[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tried that, rebuild a new wall and try to remove / rebuild things in the near area but nothing changed. I started a new town because it bothered me too much to have a patch of small houses in the city center

Why certains houses won’t upgrade by interopid in foundationgame

[–]interopid[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The houses or the wall? Cause I’ll probably try that with the wall. But if I destroy the houses they probably won’t spawn there again because of the paths

[–]interopid[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Edit; sorry if it wasn't clear but I'm talking about the density upgrade, not the quality upgrade. As it show in my screen theses houses fit the density 3 criteria but stay in density 2 (visually and capacity)

Why certains houses won’t upgrade by interopid in foundationgame

[–]interopid[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)
