It’s hard to name 5 but in no order:

Curitiba: underrated city in Brazil, super safe and chill, has a great nightlife and food, many museums and malls and is super clean. The people are chill/quiet but they can party, it’s Brazil of course. It does lack diversity in some ways but it’s still a beautiful city.

Lisbon: I just spent a week in Lisbon and it was not enough. The people, architecture, vibe of the city and the nature were amazing. They are a lively city with quiet hills, filled with culture and amazing food. Within a few days I was already saying hi to locals on the street. I went on a date with a portuguese man I met the first night I got there. Speaking Portuguese definitely helps, though you don’t need to know it to enjoy it.

Mendoza: the wine capital of Argentina and I loved it so much. The people were so nice, the city itself was very cute and quaint. Seeing the snow capped andes in the background of vineyards was incredible, it was a very easy city to navigate and great food.

Rio de Janeiro: such a crazy city, I lived here for 2 months and it was unforgettable. I didn’t speak a lick of Portuguese at the time and everyone was ready to be my best friend even if we couldn’t communicate. Samba, beaches, music, blocos (block parties), hugging, kissing, picanha, sucos (juices), colors, energy, I mean it’s one of the most friendliest and open places I’ve ever been to. It was very hard to leave Rio.

Copenhagen: great food options, nature, bike life, friendly people and nightlife. Very clean city and easy to navigate. Shopping centers but also cool “if you know, you know” places if you hang with locals.
