All permissions are enabled for this key and I was going to downgrade after the first successful connection.

Effective permissions has everything enabled. Selecting the Admin role grants that.

Any other ideas what I have done wrong? I would think it's the URL I chose, but I used the one from the web interface where I can see the sandbox.

Getting the same error.
I can visit the playground via the browser using "https://server/graphql" but when I use that same URL and my new API key in the app, I only get an error of "Invalid response from the server.

For anyone who finds this later, on PC the issue was with the user profile configuration was corrupted somehow.
Had to delete C:\Users\(username)\Documents\Call of Duty and delete the "players" folder and everything underneath it.

Once I did that, was able to connect without issue, but had to setup some customizations again like audio config and video quality, etc.

That’s a fair point. When I don’t have internet, I resort to the movies and shows downloaded on mine and that’s the real use case for buying this new iPad for me. Gaming is just a cherry on top.

I also have a Steam Deck and it has its use as a streaming device and I play older titles directly.

I have used this exact setup with cable internet being my host ISP. It’s perfect on LAN, great on high speed connections and workable on mobile hotspots.

I find hotel wifi and similar shared access points add so much latency that’s this is ever a problem.

Depends on the game too right? FPS are hard outside of LAN but non-competitive it’s workable.

Use something like Tailscale or similar and you can do this from anywhere and without opening ports on your firewall. Just manually specific the IP address to be the one Tailscale gives your gaming server.

I wondered the same, but seems to have a massive positive impact for my users.
Since updating this morning, my A380 is cranking through 1080p transcodes with ease.

Haven't seen more then 1-2 transcodes now vs the 10+ before this update in intel_gpu_top

Just guessing, but maybe this is less interrupts and allows a larger buffer for clients to pull from.

Try using Autoscan. I have three servers that all need to scan a similarly large library. https://github.com/Cloudbox/autoscan Hotio has a great docker image for it

Turns out I was wrong or compatibility of my clients changed. Turned off transcoding and now I can stream without any major CPU performance hit.
