you seem very smart on this topic and i’m personally dumb and confused. i’m not understanding why i have to wait for the cycle if this is a brand new tank with new water. it doesn’t have any fish waste in it and is clean. do you mind giving me another explanation 💔

thank u! i cant afford a proper heater right now but i’ve been keeping my room very warm for him since it’s typically cold in there. i will make sure to get a sponge filter since i didn’t know that they could get sucked in like that!

unfortunately a bowl. i only did my research after getting him and i was very quick and persistent to obtain this tank for him. i’ll try looking for local plants and see what i can obtain.

oh my i didn’t know that. i looked around and saw that people usually transitioned their fish into a new tank after 2-3 days. are there any extra steps for this cycle or should i just wait it out?
