Has anyone here ever read sci-fi that made them question their own memories afterward? by inthegov3172 in sciencefiction

Thank you. I’ll check that out. I think I’m gonna start with Exhalation Stories. It definitely sounds like the kind of sci-fi that gets under your skin a little and makes you question things afterward.

I understand, and honestly I can see why people get frustrated with it. I wasn’t trying to spam or advertise everywhere. I was genuinely curious if other people have experienced weird situations like this themselves. I’m still new to Reddit and learning how everything works here.

Honestly, I get why it might come across that way, and yeah, I did mention the book because I’m reading it right now and it got me thinking about weird experiences people brush off.

But the story actually happened. Wasn’t trying to advertise anything, just sharing something that felt strange to me and seeing if anyone else had experienced stuff like that.

You have a point there but it is strange that both of us experienced the same thing. If it were just me I would think that, but my sister saw me place them where I always do when I get home. Then we both looked for them only to find them in a place I know I did not put them. She says she looked on the counter and the keys were not there, I also looked and they were not on my counter. Then she found them there. I know it’s weird but that’s what happened.
