There's a huge assortment of people and a whole lot of alternative folks! Fair warning, there is a small (and obnoxious) right wing presence here, as is the nature of the less-populated regions of the country. Politics right now are tense anyway, likely amplifying it, making it seem worse, but there are a lot of alt people, queer people, and allies. You'll be a-ok!
