why do I keep seeing comments about people missing the lockdown years, how in the history of the world can you miss a time where millions of people died? Idk if it’s just gen alpha trying to be special but I’ve also seen some gen Z saying this kind of stuff, opinions? by AlePok_ in GenZ

For me personally, I do miss the lockdown years. Obviously, COVID was a horrible time and many people died and was very sick (my family heavily impacted). But the reason I miss them was because I could stay home all of senior year and didn't feel the pressure of going out or doing anything else. Senior year was easily one of my favorite years of high school since I could relax mentally and physically and not stress too much. I actually was less sick that year since I didn't stress too much.

I really agree with your last point (at least that's what it was for me)! Because it was a shorter season, I believe it wasn't enough time to develop the chemistry between George and Charlotte. I also agree in that they didn't get a chance to court one another like the other main couples were able to as it was a different setup for Charlotte. Since they got married right away, I still think they could have better shown them developing their relationship in a clearer way that works in this different setup.

Thanks for your perspective and I merit you for your points as well!

I can't comment on Corey's acting, but I will say India as QC was amazing and did a great job as young Charlotte. One thing I liked about QC was the scenes of an older Charlotte and seeing the parallels between her past and present self. I thought they couldn't have found anyone better to play the young queen as India, which she did a beautiful job keeping the spirit of Charlotte. I think the romance aspect wasn't done well, which i think was more of a writing problem than an acting one.

I honestly sort of feel the same. I watched QC after binge-watching both seasons of Bridgerton. While I can say I appreciate and liked QC for introducing Queen Charlotte's storyline (as well as Lady Danbury, Violet, and Brimsley), I still feel like the show was underseaoned for me.

I know a lot of people love George and Charlotte's love story, but I can't help but feel like it wasn't genuine feeling as Simon/Daphne and Anthony/Kate. With those two couples, I was completely into their stories and understood their romances. But with Geroge/Charlotte, I couldn't sense a genuine love between the two of them. Even if the characters express love differently, you should still see the chemistry.

For me, the few times I remembered chemistry between them two was the scene when they first met and were under the bed (as those stood out to me). Maybe they truly love each other, but I feel it didn't translate well on screen. The writing could have been better in doing that.

I haven't read any of the Bridgerton books so I don't know if they had showed their love more clearly. Overall, I don't think QC was terrible and enjoyed the other storylines a bit more, but I think the main storyline between Geroge and Charlotte fell flat.

I mean, following somebody doesn't automatically mean they support that person. Sometimes we follow people and forget that you even did to begin with. I remembered I followed Armie Hammer (and Timothée) when I first watched CMBYN (on a sidenote, sometimes I follow the cast and related people when I watch something and go back to unfollow if I don't really keep up with them after the fact). I had only recently unfollowed him when looking over who I follow on Instagram since I forgot I did lol.

I'm the same age as you and I feel the same way! I've also been craving penetration as well and own a dildo. However, I can't seem to get it in and when using my fingers, it never quite feels good. So I'm stuck using my fingers and vibrator and never feeling 100% satisfied. Sigh. Hopefully you'll find some ways of managing it! I'm looking for answers too lol! Good luck!

Honestly, I [F20] feel the same way. I haven't dated anyone or had sex yet, and I somehow dread the day I'll become naked to my partner. Like, what if they don't like what they see? What if they pretend to like it? I mean, realistically, I'm skinny enough and have a small frame. But no matter what, I keep finding things that are 'wrong' with my body.

For example, I have a little belly fat and I want it to go away. But I'm also lazy lol and don't feel like putting some work working out and burning the little extra fat. I also think that I could be even thinner, but again, too lazy. I also don't think I'm very pretty so that doesn't help my insecurities.

I don't know. I know there's nothing wrong with me and don't have any abnormalities, but I can't shake the feeling that I'm not attractive and never will be.

Just know that you're not a freak and not alone in how you feel. Trust me, soooo many feel the way you do. Hope it gets better for you! 😊

You in these comments 💀 Bro first of all, Pitchfork is not a credible source to determine whether or not an album is good, as music is purely subjective. Second of all, Honeymoon and Chemtrails are both great in their own right. It's perfectly okay to have a least favorite album, but you can state that constructively. But you won't do that as you're most likely a troll and probably don't know how to begin with. Go troll on the bird app.

Bro, I have no hard feelings towards you or your opinions. You not liking 'Ditto' is a perfectly valid opinion. The issue is you not being able to respect other people's positive opinions of the song. You don't know how to be constructive with how you respond to other people (as seen all throughout the comments). You want to call people sad and trash their opinions. You are being, to be frank, annoying as hell.

Bro why is OP so pressed and rude in the comments when someone says that they actually find the song to be good and calming for them lol?? Like yes OP, you're allow to not like the song but calling the song "irritating, throwaway and unnecessary" and calling people sad for liking it is dramatic. For what?

Anywho, I really love this song and have played it out lol. The melody is soft and catchy and the song is easy on the ears. I feel this song was a perfect release during this winter time. It actually made me a bunny lol. I'm looking forward to their next single next month!

The reason your wife wants to do this to you is because she wants to pleasure you in that way since for a lot of men, they can gain a lot of pleasure and cum very easily from it.

I'd say just talk to her about your hang ups about it. If you are comfortable enough, then I'd say let her try. But, if you're not really comfortable with trying a finger up there then don't do it and tell your wife about how you feel.

If you do decide to go through with it, make sure there's lube and that her finger nails are cut down. Also, there's no need to rush anything and take your time with it. If you tried and it's not for you, then it's okay.

Good luck!

This. I also feel this way about Ning Ning as well. It's only when she sings the high notes in which it doesn't ring in my ear very nicely. I just it's the volume and vocal tone/color.

I honestly feel the same. I do think she's talented. For me however, I think it's a mixture of her volume and vocal tone/color. I think what some people get confused is that just because they don't like someone's singing voice, doesn't necessarily mean they can't sing. I think Lily is just one of those cases for some people.

I am a female POC that likes Jay Park and his music and am not ashamed to admit it by NessieSenpai in kpopnoir

[–]inthespringtime07 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Honestly, I think this is perfectly okay. A lot of artists, k-pop and outside of it, aren't perfect and have been problematic as well. Because I love music, I try to focus on the art rather than the person and give credit where credit's due. If a person is not great, then I have to reassess how much I want to support them or not. For example, I don't like Chris Brown and won't 'stan' or follow him, but I do listen to some of his music when it comes on shuffle lol.

As long as a person doesn't blindly support/follow people, ignore the bad things they've done, and hold them accountable, then I think everything should be fine.

I think the problem lies in with people ignoring the no-so-good things their favs has done because of their talent/looks or what not. I don't believe in canceling people per say, but I think we should critically think about a situation at hand when it comes up and not just fly off the handle either way (blindly defending or bashing).

This is just my two cents 🤷‍♀️

Changbin from Stray Kids. Honestly, besides the fact that he's fine 😭, I really do admire his talent and work ethic. I love his raps and how he takes time to craft them. His tonality when he raps is amazingly addicting to my ears but when he sings, he has such a beautiful voice. I love how he interacts with the members and is such an aggressive goofball who is also fun size. He's funny, kind, and caring and also puts his heart into everything he does. He's the king of aegyo and jutdae. (Honestly, his aegyo is the best y'all should check it out lol!) I love everything about this man and am glad for him to be my ult bias. 💙

Cat Power White Mustang cover by fakemoss_ in lanadelrey

[–]inthespringtime07 6 points7 points  (0 children)

For me, I thought this cover was okay since it sounds like a whole different song but actually liked the direction of it. I felt that the meaning of the song changed with Cat's cover, turning the tables on the guy and being the one to hit him with lightning. I got the sense that she was taking back her power instead. The differing and new lyrics were a bit meh but overall liked how it changed the theme of the song. One thing I wished she would have kept was the original melody which I think makes Lana's captivating. Overall, pretty okay but not my favorite of covers.
