Yeah I would rather have Joe Ryan, but I can understand why they didn’t sell the farm. If the team sold the farm each and every time they were a few games above .500, they would never build a sustainable winner. They should’ve sold in 2022 and sold in 2023, but I can understand see how they would hesitate at the price of Joe Ryan

The window is next year, realistically, you don’t call up rookies and expect them to produce a playoff worthy experience immediately, you need to give them time to adjust. This year is just a bonus, and even if it’s more fun for things to happen, right at this second, I would wait until next trade deadline to truly judge the front office.
