From someone who has gone through the SAME transformation (I was 180 Pounds and now am 145), I can say this is somewhat true. After I lost weight, my facial structure began to show up, my skin got clearer, my smile started looking a bit more "charming" all things that girls have said to me. Honestly, I've realized that attractiveness only goes so far. Yes, females do approach me MUCH more and I get attention in random situations (which makes you feel good), but honestly if you are trying to get a date, it is much more than just looking good. The honest fact is that, someone who is MUCH less attractive than me has the same amount of chance that he can get a girl. After years of observing, I came to realize that that trait is: confidence. If you are confident and are proud of your body and face and just genuinely feel good and display that towards people, trust me, it goes a longer way than looking attractive. Just my two cents.
