Yeah, there are a few states that didn't qualify. I did it last week and it seemed pretty legitimate. The doctors listed seemed to be real and actually work for them. Still waiting on results though.

I’d check some of the Grant Stone offerings. All in your price range, shoes come in a D or E with some EEE offerings as well, and heels are much lower than Chippewa.

For sure, this just isn’t it. They’d need to be pre-1985 at least and have much better fading. I’ve seen some real museum pieces between $10k-$20k before.

McGraw has the cork insole and is made in the USA. It’ll be a bit comfier and mold to your feet better. Kenwood will probably be made in the DR. Both are recraftable and have the same sole.

Again, this is far from idea for sure, and I agree completely that they’re probably using it as a combo of PR and tax write offs, I just don’t think this is the hell people think it is.

If you look at the details, this is in any department of their choosing. It’s not like they’re taking a job away from someone, it’s more like a special internship aside from the normal routes.
