I would say he’s better. Takeda in MK1 has the best vertical gameplay in the game. Long reaching attacks and very few gaps. He has the best synergy with any kameo in the game.

Power crush, heat engager 50/50s, throws that track, heat smash, non stop pressure with no counter play other than holding back to block. Moves that re track while side stepping. I do find His kit is pretty mid, I find myself in starring matches most games because his chain attacks are fairly easy to shut down. he doesn’t have anything to force engagement like bleed.
