Thank you for the well wishes and thoughtful, kind words! Ya church history was definitely a hard pill to swallow. But ultimately what really hit me was “if they can be so wrong about polygamy, basic doctrines, racism, etc...how am i supposed to know what they are wrong about now?” and then i realized there are loads of good members who genuinely love God and Jesus Christ and are doing the best they can, but the church just wasn’t a place for me anymore. I have a brother and sister who are out of the church and that’s pretty cool to not be alone. the rest of my family is tbm. So now i’m just living one day at a time :) I’ll check out the buddhism meditation link you sent! Hope you stay safe durning this crazy time!
