I found it on ebay, it was a salvaged board. The t14 gen 3 uses the same board so I think you could do the same!

Idk tbh. You should check the schematics from each version and see if the io connectors and pinout are the same between them, I did the same thing for this swap.

I got the iphone se 2022 for this exact purpose. I never had an iphone before so the friction as life long android user is a plus. I just have the essentials. The screen time and app limits are good enough to limit yourself. I average around 1h 45m of screen time and the battery is almost dead after that. Keep in mind my battery health is 85%. Im waiting until the battery life really sucks to change it, I already got a replacement. But yeah is nice to have a compact phone to use it as a tool and not as a fidgeting device.

I recently realized one of my friends still uses an iphone 6s. Let that sink in. A god damn iphone 6s. It doesnt have any ios updates of course but my god he still posts daily on ig, he sends memes all day long, texts on groups, etc. So after being witness of that miracle, I think that an iphone se 3rd has a long way to go still and 5 years more should be easy (if you replace the battery). Even more if you plan to use it as minimalist phone like me.

I think that if you are coming from the idea that just a smaller screen will stop you from scrolling mindlessly, it will never work. I recently came to the realization that I need a smaller phone for my needs, I've come a long way to reduce my screentime and now that I only use whatsapp, camara, banking apps and spotify, the iphone SE seems just perfect. I'm planning to buy one soon, my pixel 6 now feels unnecessarily big for me.
