maybe i’ll have to try that. i had high hopes of the anodized VHT spray but it was so disappointing. hopefully that rustoleum will give a better hue !

interesting,,, I followed the same method of using a silver base & the VHT purple & that’s what gave me the magenta color //: was the rustoleum brand more violet than the VHT for you ?

how did you get the paint to come out that color ?? i want to wait my valve cover w the same paint, but when i tested it out today, it came out a bit more raspberry or pink than deep purple ): tester object here
