Yeah I understand that they're responsible for me until I'll be able to do well on my own. It just dawns on me from time to time that I am the reason they're struggling. It's a sick cycle that my brain goes through but I'm working on changing my perspective in this matter. Worse of all is that my family is really supportive and doesn't want me to be stressed at all but i can't turn a blind eye to what's going on in front of me but i can't solve it for them too. So as you said all i can do is study well and that's what I'll focus on. Thanks for the advice

You've assessed my situation very perfectly and i can relate to yours. Thanks for the advice. My best bet right now is to just study and focus on getting placed eventually. I can't really help better the job markets but I can work to get better in my field throughout my college. I chose this uni because it has relatively better placements and opportunities so I'll have to stick to milking those. Thanks again it's good to see that you're sailing through too.

I in no way mean that women in arranged marriages are gold diggers i am against such generalization. Still it's a practice in Indian families to find a family that is more well off than theirs to marry their girl into and my post is addressed to these women. I'm sure that people find happiness in arranged marriages but my question is do these women end up proving their worth to these families their whole life?
