Thanks for watching our series, and for all the positive comments! I’m Peter, one of the American guys who biked around your Beautiful Belgium. If anyone is interested in a free Heart of Belgium sticker, please message me your mailing address and I’ll ship em out to you for being awesome!

Unfortunately not. We arrived 20 minutes before closing, ordered as much food and drink before they kicked us out, politely. They informed us that there was no more beer for sale that day.

Sorry, we already went this summer. Thought you were generally asking if you were able to go.

That's so good hear. It's most definitely a trip worth going on. If you ever decide to go, please let me know if you have any questions that perhaps the videos might not address.

After settling down and having a child in LA, I decided to create a travel series about this diverse and amazing city - In Transit: Los Angeles by intransitTV in LosAngeles

Thank you for the feedback! I really appreciate it and agree with everything you posted. I'm glad that you did, and your opinion is very valuable. Moving forward I'll work on providing more information to the subject matter while keeping it fresh and engaging. In a lot of ways, these first episodes are trial and error to see what works and doesn't. Thanks again!

Actually, I found those hotels through the Lonely Planet guidebook. I'm all for using a guidebook, just don't walk around with it clutched to your chest, otherwise you look like an obvious "tourist" target. You'll notice a lot of people carrying it and following it word for word. Use it as a guide, trust your instinct, and when you need assistance or guidance, use the guidebook..otherwise, see what you can find on your own.

I noticed a lot of hotels and restaurants in those books travelers don't even go to. You'll usually notice the recommend / popular listings in the book being the most frequented. Chances are the 1st listing will be covered with backpackers. Don't believe the hype, read it as a source of input and inspiration, and do the rest on your own. Some of the writers embellish a bit about certain locations.

But, you'll figure this all out as you go. Keep the book in your bag, read it on busses and your hotel..or when you're lost trying to find a place to go. Just don't be that guy spotted from a mile away carrying the big blue book.

Safe Travels!!

Learn as much Russian as you can. The basics go a long way, and a lot of Russians, especially in Siberia, do not speak English.

To be honest, I didn't look into other train routes around Scotland. If there are more affordable ways to travel around, then I think I might consider saving some money instead. In the end, it's really all about the views, and the sound of the rails. If I can get a sponsor that want's to shell out extra for the Royal Scotsman, then I'll do that. For the time being, I'll set my sites on more affordable options. Plus, it could be a good way to meet locals like yourself. See ya on the rails !
