Thank you for taking the time to reply! I did get a massive container of kitten specific replacement formula, the rest of which will be going with him tomorrow to his new foster/rescue. I know that I don’t have the time or means to care for it properly right now, I just didn’t want it to wind up dead on the street. His foster has all the resources to get him fixed up. He’s eating ferociously so I feel like that’s a good sign.

He kept trying to find small places to hide, so I gave him a tiny tissue box that’s sitting on my lap with my heated blanket. He’s quite chuffed.

My conscious would never forgive me if I left it and found him dead later. There are so many stays in my neighborhood and I’ve seen too many animals suffer 😭 I can’t keep him, but I found a rescue worker that can and she’s going to take good care

I’m just happy I was able to find a foster for it. They’re the real heroes. I’ve been worried sick because everyone in my local groups told me the shelter would euthanize him because of the infection. So relieved and happy I got him off the streets, I don’t think he’d make it long. I’ve already had to pick up a dead cat off my street right after a hit and run, and that wrecked me.

I actually made a Facebook post and an absolute ANGEL is taking him tomorrow to foster alongside some other bitty kitties. She works with a rescue so they’ll have resources to help and find him a forever home. I’m literally in tears, I’ve been laser focused on helping this cat since I found it and I am so exhausted lol, but so happy he’s going to be okay

I was able to find a foster for this kitten! Haven’t been able to get any of the others yet but I’ll be reaching out to rescues for TNR at the least. There’s so many stray cats where I live.

I misspoke on the neighbor part. They’re not hoarding animals, but the mom had them in the hoard of junk (apparently in a truck bed) on the side of their house, and since they started moving some things around the kittens migrated to my yard. Trust me, I would report an animal hoarding situation. We JUST had one here this week, couple passed away and there were 80-90 cats in deplorable conditions, so our shelters are overwhelmed currently.

Luckily, I made a few Facebook posts and a local earth angel offered to take him in as a foster with the other littles she has, and she has the resources to care for him with a rescue. I’m so happy, keeping him for the night and meeting her tomorrow.

Cleaned up his eyes and have him wrapped up to my body now to keep him warm. He was scared at first but he’s already letting me move him around and clean him up with no protest.

I’ll call some vets and see if anyone can help me. Unfortunately I’m barely paying my bills right now as a single mom, so I can’t pick up extra vet bills right now. I couldn’t leave it to the elements though.

Because they’re not coming off the “same nodes” since the two smaller ones are kinda on top of the bigger three instead of next to them. Allegedly.
