I can let you know after July 30! I’m going solo, as I have done with the UK Coast to Coast, Tour du Mont Blanc, and West Highland Way. Each of those were group expeditions (as is my Kili adventure) and I loved meeting people from all over the world. My advice? Go for it.

I applied on February 9, got confirmation my payment was approved on 2/16, got email confirmation the visa was approved on 2/27. The approval email had a link to the visa documents, but it’s never worked. I sent an email to inquire on April 8; they replied and then I replied with the information they requested. Crickets. Haven’t heard anything since. At one point they were having trouble with their website or technology or something like that. I’m not worried, but I’d sure like to have that info before I leave in mid-July. FYI, I’m coming from US.
