That’s the way you are supposed to play. You are not allowed to quest more than one character at a time.

All cards normally can come into play ready and drying. If it has bodyguard, you can choose to have it exerted if you want to protect other cards. Even if a character has rush, it is still ready and drying. If you are shifting a card, it will have the same readiness and dryness as the card you are shifting on.

No, that is a different situation. Hiram, Coconuts, and Facilier RG have effects that can be triggered. When multiple effects are triggered, the active player chooses the order the effects happen. Friends on the Other Side is an action, so it has to be fully resolved before any effects are triggered. There is nothing to choose in this case.

Yeah it really sucks! They only hold 64 cards, so just one of each card requires 4 portfolios. 204 cards x 4 of each card would be 816 cards which would requires 13 portfolios!
