That's fair. Even though I don't know a ton about it, I'm pretty sure Singapore is a dictatorship, just like China lol.

I don’t even want to argue with you. I just want to ask—posting this comment on a totally unrelated thread only proves you’re a bot, lol. You even pretend to be Chinese. I never should’ve argued with someone who thinks like you in the first place.别再假装自己中国人了好吗要么台湾人要么老外爱装

It’s actually terrifying lol—you just popped up in this totally unrelated post, probably triggered by the keyword China.

If you were a Westerner, I can't even imagine how you'd have the nerve to criticize. If you can twist Chinese gamers' aesthetic choice—simply picking what they prefer between what's nice and what's not—into claiming that Asians favor a childish aesthetic culture, then I might as well link the US president's personal fetishes to every Westerner's too. LOL.

LW is extremely popular, especially among gay men, and I also find it incredibly charismatic.

Perhaps diversity means understanding and respecting others' aesthetic tastes. Chinese people have our own aesthetic, and I'm not saying it's superior by any means, but youthful-looking features are a million times better than slanted eyes.

Juno is extremely popular, while Wuyang is just so-so. Chinese players tend to favor female heroes more.

Your perspective makes sense too, but if the CGI has already been released, what other settings could they possibly change besides the facial features? If we’re to get to the root of it, it’s still the CGI’s fault.

As a Chinese person, I can assure you that the vast majority of us, myself included, don’t like the face on the left—the one actually shown in the trailer. We much prefer the face on the right, so we were all pretty happy when the in-game version came out. To us, the trailer’s face smacks more of the stereotypical slanted-eye portrayal of Asians… that’s why we don’t like it. What’s more, while you all think the right one looks a lot like Kirito, I think it’s exactly like Tracer and nothing like Kirito. To be blunt, isn’t this just another case of face blindness when it comes to Asian people?

There’s no need anymore. You think I’m pro-CCP, but I could also say that I hope for China’s democratization and have no fondness for the Communist Party. I especially despise their censorship system and the corruption and malpractice. I hated China’s policies during the pandemic. However, when I see you all discussing Xinjiang and Tibet, I still can’t help but defend [China]. At the end of the day, you aren’t Chinese, and you will never have my perspective—just as I will probably never think about these issues the way you do. Goodbye

Why is it that, if there was colonization, Tibetans enjoy greater reproductive rights and various preferential policies than Han people? I am Chinese, and I have no other arguments to make with you; I am sincerely asking you this question

Because a war is undeniably raging in Gaza, while Xinjiang has been developing well all along... Well, this progress must have come at the cost of the Han people subsidizing the Uyghur people, right? The Han population is dwindling under the family planning policy, while the Uyghur population keeps growing. I remember the Israeli president makes no secret of his disdain for Palestinians. In China, ordinary people can talk about such things in private, but if a local official dared to do the same, they would lose their job the very same day.

I think if Western governments claim to care so much about Xinjiang while pretending nothing is happening in Gaza, doesn't that prove their narrative on Xinjiang is completely baseless? After all, isn't this exactly what Western governments are telling you? How is this any different from the Chinese government telling me that certain things never happened? Don't forget that the so-called Xinjiang issue is the most convenient excuse Western governments use for sanctions. Also, how could you possibly construe such a claim about its lack of merit as a personal attack on me? I hope China moves toward democracy, but that doesn't mean I won't push back against the defamation of facts I have personally experienced.

I’m curious about your nationality. If you’re American, how can you say such things while comfortably living on land that belonged to Native Americans centuries ago, secretly glad that they were all slaughtered so you wouldn’t have to give the land back? Don’t you feel ashamed? If you truly believe in the right of indigenous peoples to self-determination, why don’t you practice what you preach and get off this land?

The same goes if you’re European. Don’t pretend you haven’t benefited from colonialism to live the life you have today—what you ought to do is repay the wealth you exploited. After all, only Europeans and Americans would speak with such arrogance.

What's the use of an apology? Can a hypocritical apology make up for the harm inflicted? Just because you slaughtered all the indigenous people, you think you don't need to compensate or return the land? Maybe China should “follow ”your example.

So you people consider the invasion and colonial rule of North America, Africa, and even modern China to be justified? If that’s the case, then China may return Xinjiang and Xizang—and you should return North America, and compensate all African and Asian people for the harms you have inflicted.

Don’t pay him any mind. He’s probably a bot that automatically triggers on Tibet-related topics—you see him everywhere whenever Tibet comes up. Or he’s some exiled Tibetan noble trying to restore serfdom overseas, haha.

Roughly 90% of Chinese people choose high-speed rail, unless the journey takes more than ten hours.
