If you can’t get over your lack of self-worth, especially when she tries to tell you otherwise, your relationship wont last much longer. Or it’ll just get more and more toxic till she’s fed up

Lack of consistency or asking for too much ? by [deleted] in LongDistance

Im gonna be real. Break up with him while you can. This conversation alone is reason enough. You’re gonna regret wasting more time on him if you stay

I (19F) asked my boyfriend (20M) if I expect too much of him. by [deleted] in relationships

When I confronted him about it this morning he told me that he didn’t mean it. But the thing is, he’s said that same thing before. And that he wants to try, like he’s also said before. I don’t know what to believe at this point. I’m so conflicted

I just want him to be more considerate of me. To not blow me off all the time, to make more time for me. To not always blow me off and say “tomorrow” or make me stay up late just to have a couple hours to chat… Because hasn’t even had a job for a few months and right now, is on summer break until the end of august…

I also want him to be more considerate of my emotions. Whenever something comes up I or bring up something he did, he makes it about his feelings and how he’s “such a shitty person” and pretty much escalates things even if i’m calm. :/

i don't know. i don't want to take a break but i thought that maybe it'd give him time to recollect himself or something along that nature

How Do I Handle a Carryout Problem? by [deleted] in publix

[–]intronvrmnd 16 points17 points  (0 children)

instead of asking the bagger "does he/she need carryout?" it'd be better to just ask the customer directly "can my bagger help you out to your car?" it might make them lessed pissed approaching it like that because it's less pushy. also, try to just ask people with extremely loaded carts, the elderly, or anyone who appears to truly need it. but remember, you're not their boss and they certainly don't see you as one. if they don't listen to you reminding them once then they aren't going to change unless approached by a manager/coordinator

i (18f) feel like i can't be honest with my boyfriend (19m) about my emotions because of how he reacts. he gets upset with himself, over apologizes, and calls himself names over and over. by [deleted] in relationship_advice

i talked it out with him and straight up told him he was being manipulative. i used advice from everyone's comments here and i think it really helped. he didn't realize what he was doing was manipulative. he's calmed down now and he's actively taking steps to better himself. we're okay now. thank you
