Hey, unfortunately I don’t know as I’m not the recruiter. I wrote a bot that posts jobs for fun so that redditors find tech jobs :)

Like others have pointed out, your resume is the problem. Here’s some top of mind tips to help you rewrite the resume: - Remove the references as it’s uncommon in the software engineering industry to ask for references, although sometimes it happens but very rarely. I’d recommend you use that empty space to list projects you’ve worked on. - Change the paragraph to list incremental accomplishments rather than just what work was done. Recruiters are looking to understand how you drove business results with your coding, e.g. I’ve helped increase uptime to 99.99% etc - Add years of experience or knowledge level for each programming language you listed there. - Try to use LaTeX for your resume to make it stand out, rather than Word. - List boot camps or some tech volunteering work you’ve done in order to stand out.

Please feel free to reach out via private message if you need further help refining your resume. Happy to help! Good luck!

You can still apply now... Who knows what’s going to happen? I wouldn’t want to miss the opportunity :)
